Kaohsiung Dashu - A huge outlet mall with iron legs | E-DA Shopping Mall | (Great Greek street scene for taking photos)
If you want to take Greek-style photos in Kaohsiung, the first place that comes to mind must be E-DA! Although there are more scenes inside the amusement park, you can actually take photos all day long at the shopping mall! (Important: No tickets are required here)
E-DA Shopping Plaza is an outlet mall, and the discounts they offer are very generous. I heard that many wealthy ladies take the high-speed rail to shop here.
It is divided into A, B and C areas, which are basically easy to distinguish based on price. Brands in Area A are the most expensive, followed by Area B, and finally Area C is the cheapest.
But because the brands in Area A originally cost tens of thousands, the discount will bring a saving of several thousand to tens of thousands. Brands in Area C cost hundreds or thousands of yuan, so the discount may only bring a saving of tens to hundreds of yuan. In terms of the extent of the discount, Areas A and B are more noticeable.
However, it doesn’t affect shopping. You can just go shopping anyway. What’s most important is to find what suits you.
Also, please be aware of this for those who are visiting for the first time and don’t want to get lost and want to shop efficiently.
Only floors B1-3 can reach areas ABC at the same time. For the remaining floors, the escalator in area A can go to area A, and the escalator in area C can only go to area C. If you are standing on the 4th floor of area C and want to go to the 5th floor of area A, please walk from area C to the 3rd floor first, then walk to area A and go up.
The overall building is in the shape of an "A". Area B has only 3 floors, while AC has 5 floors. It is normal for first-time visitors to get lost.
But overall, this square is very diverse and fun to visit. If you want to visit all the shops in one day, you need to visit them from opening to closing time, and you need to be mentally prepared to have strong legs.
Parking here is very good. If you spend 800up, you can park completely free on the day. If you don't spend any, the parking fee is 100/day. As a shopping mall, the threshold is low and there is no time limit. Except for New Year's Eve, it seems that it is rarely full at other times. There are a lot of parking spaces, and even during the New Year, the outdoor area will be open for parking.
If you come by high-speed rail, you can also transfer to the E-DA shuttle bus, which takes you directly to the high-speed rail. It is very sincere and you don’t have to squeeze with others on the bus.
Motorbikes are also convenient and easy to park, but this is on the mountain and the journey is a bit far. It is not recommended for outsiders to ride a motorcycle. Shuttle buses and cars are better choices. Taxis are not recommended because it is far from the city and the fare is very expensive.
