Check out my guide! 🚗Transportation Guide ✈️Plane: After arriving at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, the airport bus routes are well-connected and can take you to various bustling areas in the city, which is economical and affordable. Metro Line 11 can also take you directly to the city, which is fast and convenient. It takes about 30–40 minutes by taxi to reach the city center and start your exploration of Pengcheng. 🚄High-speed rail: Shenzhen North Station has frequent trains and is an important transportation hub with mature surrounding facilities and seamless connections to buses and subways, making it easy to get to various attractions. During my two-day, one-night stay in Futian, I checked into the Shangri-La Hotel, Futian. The hotel boasts a prime location, easily accessible from Exit 10 of Futian Station. It stands in the heart of the Futian district, surrounded by Shenzhen's economic hubs, with several large shopping malls nearby, such as Coco Park and Link City, making it very convenient for travel. I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room, which spans 45 square meters, offering a spacious and comfortable environment. The room's design is modern and elegant, creating a relaxing atmosphere as soon as you enter. The bathroom is exquisitely decorated and features a large bathtub. The room also includes a walk-in closet, which is very convenient for guests staying for an extended period. The hotel staff provided excellent service, making me feel very welcome. During check-in, they even handed out an amenities bag. This stay also included a buffet breakfast the next morning, with a wide variety of options ranging from Chinese to Western cuisine. I brought my children to Shenzhen on the weekend and found that the place was full of Spring Festival atmosphere. Many places have changed into new Spring Festival clothes. It is suitable for traveling with children during the Spring Festival. Let’s take a look at our travel route this time! Day1⃣️: Depart from Guangzhou, drive about 2 hours to the hotel and check in directly. The hotel we stayed in was Shenzhen Futian Shangri-La. The beautiful decoration inside the hotel made me feel like it was already a holiday. I brought my children with me so I booked a parent-child room. The room was great and the decoration was full of childishness. The welcome snacks were eye-catching, beautiful and delicious 😋 Then we went out for a walk with the kids. The hotel is very close to the business districts Link Central City, Bonjour Center, and Cocopark Shopping Park. You don’t need to drive 🚗 and can easily reach them by walking. We put down our luggage and went to the nearby Link Central City to play. It happened to be the Ice and Snow Festival and we could play in the snow. It was fun 🥳 After shopping here, it was dinner time when we returned to the hotel. This time we went to Fresh Coffee Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. This restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel. The buffet breakfast and dinner are quite good, with a full range of varieties, high-end seafood, sashimi, all kinds of hot dishes, hot pot, and stews. It was awesome! ! After a break, it is also a good choice to take your children swimming directly. If you eat too much at night, exercise to digest the food. There are also wet steam and dry steam here, fully equipped~💕 Day2⃣️: Have a delicious buffet at the hotel early in the morning, and then continue to take the kids to the nearby Watsons Center and Cocopark Shopping Park to start the 🔛shopping mode. It’s fun to shop here, and both adults and children can buy their favorite things! 💫✨While shopping, I found that there were many Hong Kong people here, and then I noticed the nearby Futian Station. It only takes 14 minutes by high-speed rail to Hong Kong West Kowloon from the high-speed rail station below. It is so convenient. It only takes 5 minutes to walk from the hotel! ! After shopping, I found a restaurant to have lunch, went back to the hotel to check out and drove back to Guangzhou. The time was just right, there was no traffic jam and the journey was smooth, ending this happy journey!

Two weeks ago, I brought my wife and daughter to Shenzhen to participate in the annual Shenzhen Marathon. We chose the Futian Shangri-La, which is super close to the starting point. It is also only a 5-minute walk from Futian Railway Station, which is very convenient. 🎄🎄🎄 The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated with a strong Christmas atmosphere, with colorful balls, Christmas trees, and gingerbread houses. The gingerbread houses are even modeled after various landmarks in Shenzhen, which is very thoughtful. My daughter pulled me to take a photo with the huge Christmas tree, and she loved it. 🎄🎄🎄 The guest room is also full of parent-child elements, with rocking horses and small tents that children like. The welcome fruits and chocolates are all Christmas-themed and made into the shape of Christmas trees. 🎄🎄🎄 The room has huge floor-to-ceiling windows with a very open view. You can see the Civic Center when you look up, and the hotel's tennis court and pickleball court when you look down. Due to the Shenzhen Marathon, the hotel started serving breakfast at 6:00 am and extended the check-out time to 3:00 pm after the race, so I could take a shower and pack my luggage at the hotel. 🎄🎄🎄 Before check-out, I also tried pickleball. The coach patiently taught me some basic rules and skills. Although I felt like I was playing tennis, pickleball is less elastic than tennis, so you need to hit the ball harder to get it over the net. 🎄🎄🎄 I finished the marathon in 3:55:55, successfully setting a new personal best, which proves that my training this year was not in vain. In addition to being grateful for the support of my wife and daughter, I also had a good rest the night before and stayed close to the competition venue. This hotel really deserves credit.
