As soon as I walked into the newly renovated T2 executive room, I was attracted by its modern Shanghai-style design. The elegant tones, fashionable furniture combinations, each element blends the unique cultural atmosphere of Shanghai and the charm of modern cities. The spacious space and comfortable big bed make people relax instantly and completely immerse in this space.
In terms of T1 rooms, the designer took Shanghai's unique Shikumen as inspiration, using advanced dark green tones, perfectly combining popular lifestyle concepts with elegance, fashion, and calm personality.
The executive lounge of the Hongqiao Xiangyuan Hilton Hotel has always been a highlight. In this upgrade, the lounge is completely new, with design inspiration from modern old Shanghai, not only providing three private shared spaces and spacious outdoor areas, but also a unique membership design. In addition to traditional breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hours, a dedicated gourmet menu has been introduced, allowing guests to enjoy at will.

This Hilton hotel in Shanghai is really comfortable to stay in!
The hotel has now undergone a comprehensive renewal, with a spacious and elegant lobby. The room I stayed in was in Building 2, with a soft and elegant color scheme, solid wood floors, walk-in closets, and a renovated bathroom, all of which provided a more comfortable living experience. The executive lounge on the third floor of the hotel is my favorite space, filled with the relaxed atmosphere of a social coffee shop.
Recently, the Hujiang 88 restaurant in the Hilton Hotel in Hongqiao, Shanghai, has been renovated and opened, which is the reason why I visited this hotel again. You may also remember the "Hujiang Express" of the Hilton Hotel in Shanghai back in the day. This is another manifestation of it, a restaurant with different stalls offering a variety of cuisines, like a high-end "food stall" located in the hotel.
In addition to its business attributes, the hotel also has its own views on urban vacations. The tennis court is being renovated, the bright indoor swimming pool is open from 6 am, and there is this small sky garden hidden on the 4th floor, which many friends who have stayed many times do not know about. It really is a treasure hotel located in Hongqiao Gubei!

The hotel location is okay, it's about half an hour's drive to Hongqiao Airport and the train station, but it's not very convenient to travel by subway, the nearest subway is about two kilometers away. I have to say this hotel is quite unique, the room decoration is retro and elegant, the whole house is warm-toned, very cozy, the bed in the room is super big, the window overlooks Gubei No.1, I really like the waterfall-style water in the bathroom, it's very comfortable to shower, the hotel has a swimming pool, the changing room also has hot soup, the breakfast variety is not very much, the taste is okay, the overall service of the hotel is not bad.

The Hilton Hotel at Shanghai Hongqiao Xiangyuan is a beloved establishment for us. Its proximity to Hongqiao Airport and convenient transportation make it an ideal choice. My husband and I often choose to celebrate our anniversaries here. Recently, we learned that their lobby restaurant and executive lounge have been upgraded, transitioning from a business hotel style to a more urban leisure vibe. Hence, we decided to revisit this hotel on the special day of May 20th (520).

On such a special day, staying in an executive room adds a sense of ceremony. The executive lounge, located on the third floor, is where check-in for the executive rooms takes place. The newly renovated lounge offers a cozy leisure environment. In addition to beverages, afternoon snacks and small meals are also provided. Booths are available for guests who require a private space for discussions or chats.

Upon entering the executive room, we fell in love with the large windows and transparent space design. The room features wooden flooring and furniture, complemented by Art Deco-style metal decorations. The atmosphere is both comfortable and luxurious. Our favorite part is the room layout, with a dressing room on one side opposite the bed and a bathroom on the other. The bathtub faces a large floor-to-ceiling window, providing an incredibly relaxing experience.

In the afternoon, we visited the garden of the "Hujiang 88" restaurant, where a set of garden Longjing afternoon tea was waiting for us. This afternoon tea set offers a unique blend of Japanese visual and taste sensations. The combination of avocado sushi and mentaiko is particularly special. The pairing of desserts and tea is sweet but not cloying.

In the evening, we dined at the Haiyue restaurant inside the "Hujiang 88" restaurant, tasting delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Pan-seared tuna paired with Niçoise salad, served with a specially made sweet and sour tomato sauce and olive oil, was refreshing. The large slow-cooked octopus leg paired with potatoes was rich in texture. The Spanish paprika braised beef cheek and porcini mushrooms were tender and chewy. Finally, we had a satisfying Italian black truffle ham mushroom pizza and seafood pasta. It was an utterly satisfying meal!

When we returned to the executive lounge for a break, it was already evening. During happy hour, we could enjoy unlimited wine. As we sipped our red wine and reminisced about the past, we felt tipsy, satisfied, happy, and nostalgic. We had an unforgettable and wonderful 520 holiday.

This Hongqiao Hilton Hotel understands the first suppress and then raise. I squeezed out of the crowded crowd in Hongqiao like a refugee, and was angry in the super high temperature weather in Jiangnan. After entering the hotel lobby and looking around, I was very disappointed. The decoration level stayed a decade ago, dull and long, without even a decent chandelier, and instantly had no expectations for this place.
Then I was happy to turn around, and my eyes lit up when I entered the room. I can only say that the decoration style of the room is very in line with my personal aesthetics, and I can't help but fantasize if my home is to be renovated, it can be copied completely. Then use the finishing touch of this room, the ripple lampshade and frosted glass to the extreme, creating a misty style of smoke cage cold water moon cage sand, it is too moving.
The executive lounge is also worth lingering. It is recommended to go on non-weekends, which is no different from the leisurely cafes in the city, with light colors and flowers, and the lights flickering. Two or three small cakes and a glass of sparkling water can fill the entire afternoon.
The swimming pool and fitness center are also recommended for non-weekend check-ins, which is simply a paradise at the end of the world. A pool of clear water, I enjoy it alone. After the upgrade, whether it's the public area or the guest rooms, you can see some retro style with contrasting colors. Because I booked an executive room, I also directly checked in at the executive hotel on the third floor of the hotel.
