Mad dragon Shanghai
If you’re by HuaiHai Road Shanghai and looking for a place to eat, this is a MUST. It has plenty of choices of Pizzas, pastas, appetizers, meat dishes; steak, kebab, fish and desserts.
A lot of the food has a spicy kick so if you’re not into spice remember to tell the waiter! I got a surprise when my fish had chili in the sauce but wasn’t mentioned on the menu as being spicy. It has a lovely vibe in the evening and seems to be a popular place for foreigners and locals alike. It’s not too far from other popular bars and eateries, so if this doesn’t tickle your fancy, there will surely be something else!

DingTeLe Shanghai, noodle heaven
Address - DingTeLe is located inside a community at 494 Middle HuaiHai Road in Shanghai. It's not easy to find as it's not on a main road, but you'll see the restaurant as soon as you step through the community gate.
Ambiance/Facilities - The restaurant is small, but makes up for it by having more seats on different levels. The great thing about it is that you can dine here 24 hours a day, which makes it the perfect breakfast spot. The restaurant was even recommended by Michelin.
Highlights - DingTeLe has all kinds of dishes such as fried pork chops and yellow croaker noodles, but the real star are the scallion noodles, called CongYouMian. They are very simple, but very tasty. Noodles with scallion oil, shredded pork and fried scallions.
Avg. Price per Person - 20rmb
Rating - 4.5 stars

Hip Shanghai Music Shop
If you’re looking for a good music shop in Shanghai, Ishibashi Music on Huaihai Middle Road is a great place to go. They have all sorts of new and used guitars 🎸, drums 🥁, and other accessories. The staff is friendly and fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Their selection of both acoustic and electric guitars is excellent and they stock many of the major brands you’d expect to find: Fender, Martin, Yamaha, Taylor, etc. There are many music shops in the area so if you’re looking for something else, it’s also a good place to go. Stop by sometime and check it out if you’re into musical instruments! #music #shopping
Magnum exhibition
Magnum Ice Cream brand made a cute colorful exhibition in Jinjiang Shopping Center. Entrance is free of any cost. Perfect for all ages, and cute pictures. No ice cream inside, unfortunately.
Magnum exhibit was a nice surprise this Sunday afternoon, enjoying the small rooms and designs, reminded me artwork from TeamLab. Definitely a good place to enjoying a few minutes of nice art work with your friends or family.
Although exhibition was small, art pieces in different rooms were interesting, including those three rooms with motion artwork. It was a fun experience!

Micang Pop: Coffee & Sweat Treats
Micang Pop is a cute dessert café located near the bustling Middle Huaihai Road. After dinner, stopped by for some sweat treats and to check out the location.
Even at 8 PM, the shop was still pretty full. The best seats are the ones at the window – they’re perfect for people watching or having a chat with a friend.
The menu has all of the café classics, plus some interesting standouts. We especially liked the unique red date rooibos latte and the rich flavor of the honey latte.
For desserts, one of the café’s most popular choices is the soufflé, which takes around half an hour to prepare. Consider trying the crème brulee or pancakes covered with caramel, bananas, and hazelnuts, though needless to say it’s a bit on the heavy side.
Don’t miss out on the toasted marshmallow ice cream, which features a giant, slightly charred ice cream marshmallow on a stick that took us back to eating s’mores (minus the chocolate and graham crackers) around the campfire.
This café frequently comes out with seasonal menus around the holidays, so be sure to check back often.

A Store For the Cat-Lover in All of US
Spending an afternoon with cats is a surprisingly good way to de-stress. We headed down to a cat café on Middle Huaihai Road.
The shop itself is fairly new and the interior is clean and tidy. While the shop is decorated with lots of pink color, both girls and guys are sure to enjoy their time at this two story venue.
Hanging around in the shop are 30 cats of different breeds, including Siamese, American shorthairs, ragdolls, and more. Needless to say, they’re all extremely cute. An interesting fact to note, we heard from the shopkeeper that the most expensive cat in the shop cost around 38,000 RMB! 😱😱😱
All of the cats are quite friendly and willing to be touched and pet, and there are loads of opportunities to take photos if that’s your thing.
For 86 RMB per person, you’ll get a drink plus one can of food for cat feeding. When you enter the shop, you’ll have the choice between single use slippers or shoe covers. Lint rollers are on hand to make sure you leave the shop fur-free.

In Shanghai, I was unexpectedly healed by the scenery of this flower shop
UBANFLOWER's aesthetic is always on point! There's a new skin every month!!
The most romantic flower shop at the Shanghai subway entrance
Especially during the tipsy twilight of the sunset
Everything becomes exceptionally gentle and beautiful
"Although flowers may not bloom for the sake of the flower shop
I definitely came here for this romance"

Shanghai on the first day of the Lunar New Year
On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Shanghai is 12°
Shanghai, after several days of low temperature, welcomed the sunshine on the first day of the Lunar New Year. The enthusiasm of the New Year made the sky clear.
Walking on Huaihai Middle Road, accompanied by this ray of sunshine, adds a touch of color to the entire festival.
Along the way, you can see festive signs, and the heat wave of the festival continues;
In the park, uncles and aunts who dance with light steps to the music;
In the shopping malls, P, D, G... and other major brands are still eye-catching;
The sudden roar of a motor vehicle, without looking back, you know it's a Ferrari out for a ride;
Turn right into Maoming South Road, at one end of the road is waffles from Brussels, at the other end is Tsinghua Middle School.
For friends who like to have a drink, Sinan Mansion is a good place, not only coffee: Starbucks, Costa, but also Maotai Culture Experience Hall, opposite is Maotai ice cream, very curious what it tastes like? What does it feel like?
Unfortunately, it's the first day of the Lunar New Year, so I only took a few photos at the door. Friends who have eaten can share their feelings at the time.
In addition to drinks, there are also foods, whether it's Chinese or Western food, everything is available, so you don't have to worry about being hungry.
Finally, the lady who is making a phone call, the person she is meeting should be arriving soon!
Continue to explore, please look forward to it!
Shanghai|Hengshan Road citywalk, not many people, the fragrance of osmanthus
👌Unexpectedly, on a certain day of the National Day holiday, there were not many people in the plane tree area.... Light rain, slightly cool, the fragrance of osmanthus. On a whim, I took a citywalk on the way.
🗺️【Route】
✏️Music Castle of the Music Academy——Huaihai Road——Baoqing Road——66 Plane Tree Court——No. 8 Hengshan Road——International Church——Lipo Garden——Xujiahui Park
⏱️Time: about 2 hours of walking and taking pictures
Perhaps because it was morning and it was drizzling, there were really not many people...
Coffee shops can be seen everywhere on the road, and you can have a cup at any time☕
🍁【Highlights】
➡️Music Castle of the Music Academy
Founded in 1926, with a building area of 1218 square meters, it is a three-story brick-wood structure. It is a typical German Renaissance-style garden house designed by Beigao Yanghang. It used to be the Belgian consulate and has a high architectural art value. It was once used as the library of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
➡️66 Plane Tree Court
66 Plane Tree Court·Neighborhood Gathering, located at the intersection of Urumqi South Road and Hengshan Road, is an English-style country-style garden house designed by Hungarian architect Wudak, with a history of more than 80 years. Now it is a public cultural space in Tianping Street, and there is a canteen, which is also open during the National Day.
➡️No. 8 Hengshan Road
No. 8 Hengshan Road is mainly composed of Shengjia Garden, Meitong School Water Tower, 2 excellent historical buildings and 2 distinctive contemporary buildings. The overall style of Meitong School is American Renaissance-style architecture with clear water red bricks and white stone eaves, and so is its water tower. The new building at No. 8 Hengshan Road is mainly white, contrasting with the old building, but it blends together very harmoniously. Go up to the second floor through the spiral staircase, the photo angle is better.
➡️International Church
It is the largest Christian church in Shanghai, built in 1925. German Gothic-style church architecture, the tail top is a wooden house frame, red brick structure. The church is connected to a three-story building on the left. The roof of the hall is steep and covered with slate tiles.
I used to pass by without opening, this time I passed by and it was open, so I went in for a tour. I don't know if there is an event, or it is now open to the public.
➡️Lipo Garden
Built in 1928, the independent garden house was once named Lipo Garden, also known as Wuxing Garden. It was designed by the French merchant Lian'an Yanghang. It is a modern-style garden house and is now used by the Shanghai Institute of Sports Science.
The newly opened small garden this year, no need to come specially, just take a picture when passing by. Because the place is very small, it is not the flowering season now, and it is drizzling, it is a bit ordinary.

✨After half a century of bustling coal and sanitation, like the old Kler, half gentle and peaceful without losing elegance, more than 1600 old buildings gathered in an old alley, telling the story of old Shanghai.

✨The less than 600 meters long Duolun Road is filled with a nostalgic atmosphere. It was once home to greats like Lu Xun and Ye Shengtao. Street book vendors and antique stalls appear from time to time, and the depths of the alley tell the story of the 1930s elegance.
Shanghai Summer Exhibition | GM Giant Exhibition
Huaihai Road
📍Detailed address: 798 Huaihai Middle Road (4 floors in total)
Let's take a look at the GENTEL MONSTER giant from Seoul! This 450-yard big foot is a bit too big, there are really many people queuing up to take pictures on the scene, there are so many people even in bad weather... But the sunglasses that just came up this season attracted my attention, this installation is all over my circle of friends! All the bloggers, classmates, and friends around me have checked in, so I also took Xiaoyang to take a round🧚I tried glasses crazily today, and the little sister of the on-site staff has been playing with Xiaomi, it's really too happy!
The new campus of Shanghai Conservatory of Music on Huaihai Road is open, and the night view is beautiful
The renovation and update of Shanghai Conservatory of Music is about to end, the historical protected buildings are more charming after modification, and a few buildings in the new campus are revealed. Some buildings were opened on New Year's Day in 2024, and the rest will follow.
Unlike some large campuses developed in the suburbs, this campus of Shanghai Conservatory of Music is adjacent to Huaihai Road, more like the scattered villa campus in Europe, which is more delicate and gentle in the downtown area. I envy the future teachers and students.
Shanghai| Lihfeng Twin Villas
|Lihfeng Twin Villas. Enter from the small door opposite to nico and... on Huaihai Road
Inside are two secluded large villas
I like this quiet existence in the hustle and bustle, hidden in the city
The filming location of the TV series 'Nothing But Thirty'
It used to be called Lihfeng Twin Villas
Now it's given to Van Cleef & Arpels to be L'ecole Jewelry Art Center
L'ecole means school in French
Indeed, courses are provided here
Just happened to have a French professor
So we chatted in French for a while
Found out that the courses are all for beginners
I'm a bit tempted
Shanghai city tour

Second stop West Bank Phoenix Nest AI PLAZA, come here to eat Chaojuju · Chaoshan Snack Hall (ALPLAZA West Bank Phoenix Nest Store), the environment is very good, the taste is great, the price is not expensive
Third stop Huaihai Road, take a stroll, enter GENTLE MONSTER (Huaihai Middle Road flagship store) to see the giant exhibition, there are exhibitions from the first to the third floor, the rooftop on the third floor is particularly suitable for taking pictures, behind is Huaihai Road 796 Lishifeng Twin Villas, walk to Sinan Road On the Antique Garden, it is a coffee shop in the afternoon and a bar at night, the atmosphere is particularly great!
Very interesting shopping area with tree covered avenue. The section that I am talking about is from Xiang Yang Road on the west and all the way to Cong Qing Nan Road on the east.
There are many boutiques which most people can not afford, but they are interesting to browse, like some of watch stores. #wintergetaway
