#Huayi Hot Spring Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Huayi Hot Springs, you deserve it
💞💞 On the eve of the Dragon Year, I spent it at the Kunming Huayi Hot Spring Hotel
After touring Yunnan for two weeks, I was very tired, so I thought about finding a better hot spring♨♨♨ to have a good rest. It would be best if I didn't have to move at all after entering, and could go directly to the airport the next day to return home✈✈✈
Thinking that it was the Chinese New Year, I wanted to choose a better hot spring, so I picked the Huayi Hot Spring Hotel from the many hot springs in Kunming. After reading other people's travel guides, this one seemed relatively high-end, not too crowded, and basically, you could close the door and have a pool to yourself (see pictures 2-3). Moreover, the temperatures of different pools vary, so you can start from 39 degrees and soak your way up
We also changed several pools, starting with a lower temperature and gradually getting used to it. Although it was only about ten degrees outside and quite cold, you wouldn't feel very cold wrapped in a bathrobe and towel. You can get more towels from the front desk, and when they get wet, you can put them in the nearby rack, and the staff will come to collect them
🌟 Highlights:
The hot springs are distributed on both sides of the swimming pool (see pictures 4-5), with about eight or so (might not have counted them all). Basically, you can always find an empty pool without having to share with others, and if it's hot, you can also swim🏊. There's also ice cream at the front desk, and what's particularly cute is that every hour on the hour, there's a little train that takes you around the hotel (see pictures 7-8). If you're lucky, you can even look up to see planes passing overhead (last three pictures).
📝 Tips:
If you want to enjoy the hot springs and ride the little train, especially when the weather is cold, it's best to wear clothes for the train ride and then soak in the hot springs afterward, otherwise, you might get very cold after the ride
