The original name of this place is Thai Military Paper Factory, which is called the first industrial museum of Thailand. It was built during World War II. It was the first paper factory in Kanchanaburi that produced paper from bamboo pulp to print its own banknotes. The building is made of reinforced concrete. The architectural style before World War II was influenced by the early modern art of Thailand, which emphasized simplicity and utility. There was a tall chimney, which was a prominent feature of the building at that time. If anyone has seen The Last of Us, we recommend it. It has a great atmosphere.

🕍 ThaiKanchanaburiPaperMill: Another new landmark of Kanchanaburi Province, which opened in 1935, was established during World War II. It is the second paper mill in Thailand, producing paper and banknotes used during World War II. The factory is in a medieval European style, designed by German craftsmen.
Although it has been more than 85 years, the structure of the factory is still very strong and durable. In October 2019, the area was renovated to allow tourists to take pictures and organize various activities.
In 1987, the factory was sold to a private company and the land was leased for 30 years. When the 30-year contract expired, just a few days ago, Mr. Kiree Kanchanaphas handed over the ThaiKanchanaburiPaperMill back to the care of the people of Kanchanaburi for public benefit and registered with the Fine Arts Department and developed into a tourist attraction.
📸 For those who like taking pictures with old buildings You will definitely be pressing the shutter continuously.
📌 You can take pictures outside the building, but you are strictly prohibited from entering the building.
