Last holiday, we planned to drive from Bangkok to check in at Khao Yai Thiang, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The highlight here is the “giant windmills” standing tall and lined up on the ridge above the Lam Takhong Reservoir. The view is amazing. 🌄💨 🚗 We left Bangkok in the morning, took the Mittraphap route, drove for about 2 and a half hours, and arrived at our destination just in time. The weather was nice, the wind was cool and comfortable, no need to turn on the air conditioner! The round-trip gas fee was about 600 baht (if there are 2 people, it would only be 300 baht per person). 🚙 There is no entrance fee here. It’s free! You can park your car. There is a very large parking lot. If you don’t want to walk, you can rent a golf cart or a bicycle. • We chose to rent a bicycle for 40 baht and rode along the wind.
