Stumbling into Monet's Garden! This Jasmine-Themed Homestay in Fuzhou is Breathtakingly Beautiful
Nestled in Yangqi Ancient Village of Fuzhou's Cangshan District, Zuizhen Jasmine Mansion is a homestay that embodies the romance of Fuzhou in its very bones. Selected as one of Fuzhou's Top 10 Homestays in 2024, this experience truly left me utterly amazed!
🏠 Upon entering the mansion, it feels like stepping into a garden villa from the Republic of China era. The overall white color scheme exudes purity and simplicity, complemented by exquisite carvings and vintage decor, where Eastern and Western cultures blend seamlessly, radiating elegance everywhere. It's also a perfect spot for photography—spiral staircases, an outdoor pool, a starry sky lounge—every corner is incredibly photogenic. Wearing a cheongsam here feels like traveling back in time to the Republic of China era.
🛏 The rooms are cozy and inviting, each featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with excellent natural light, offering views of lush greenery and distant mountains right from the bed. The little details in the room truly won me over, with jasmine elements everywhere, even the specially crafted jasmine-scented fragrance. Falling asleep to the delicate floral aroma is incredibly soothing 💤
🍵 As a jasmine-themed homestay, their tea drinks are a must-try! Whether it's traditional jasmine tea or innovative jasmine milk tea and jasmine coffee, each is authentically prepared, leaving a lingering fragrance with every sip. The homestay also thoughtfully provides afternoon tea—delicate pastries paired with refreshing tea—enjoyed leisurely in the courtyard under the sun, creating a truly blissful experience.
🏞 There are plenty of nearby attractions too, including Yan Fu's Former Residence and Shangshu Ancestral Temple, offering a deep dive into history and culture. The village also features jasmine fields and fish ponds, where you can stroll through the fragrant blooms or enjoy the fun of fishing 🎣
