#thingstodo Filming location for the movie "Thermae Romae" (first film). It was indeed ancient Rome. This is a sister facility of Mito City Botanical Garden. There were no flowers in the middle of winter, but it was a great place to take a walk. Spring and summer are also wonderful with lots of greenery.I was impressed by how warm the toilet seat was, which I wasn't expecting at all. Free parking available.
