Nagasaki Prefecture 🫧 Hasami Kometama Ice Cream This is an ice cream specialty store where the ice cream is mixed in an ice kiln after an order is placed. The store looks like a mountain hut. It's located deep in the Nishinohara area! Unlike other stores, the ice cream here takes about a year to make! The eggs used in the ice cream are made from the yolks of Kawatana rice eggs raised in a free-range environment at Kometama. The quality of the eggs has a big impact on the chickens' feed, so they also grow rice as feed. The fruits and vegetables, which change with the season, are also from around Hasami and Nagasaki. Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture Nigirimeshi Kawachi I visited this place in the Nishinohara area because I wanted to eat a quick meal A specialty shop for rice balls and miso soup made with rice carefully grown in Hasami and Kawauchi The miso soup and ingredients are made with a blend of wheat and rice from Hasami, salt from Nishiumi, and soybeans from Nagasaki Prefecture I didn't order it this time, but I'm curious🥺!! They also sell a limited number of miso "Nigirimeshi" made with local ingredients and love. Nishinohara in Hasami-cho, Nagasaki A building designated as a national tangible cultural property, this wonderful spot is lined with cafes, restaurants and general stores. All the shops were lovely, and the weather was nice that day, so it was very pleasant.
