Qiandeng Ancient Town, Kunshan, Suzhou, Jiangsu
Qiandeng Ancient Town in Suzhou, formerly known as Gandun Ancient Town, is located in Kunshan City, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. The ancient town still retains the architectural styles of the Qing, Ming, and Republican periods, and still maintains the ancient charm of parallel waterways and adjacent streets and rivers.
Attractions include: Gu Yanwu's Former Residence, Qinfeng Pagoda, Gu Jian Memorial Hall, Yu's Pawnshop, Datang Shantaiyuan, etc.
The main road of the scenic spot is currently free of charge. Tickets for small scenic spots inside are combined tickets, including Gu Yanwu's Former Residence, Gu Garden, Gu Jian Memorial Hall, Yanfu Chan Temple, Yu's Pawnshop, Qinwang Mountain Ruins, Ancient Stage, Datang Ecological Park, etc.
There are so many delicacies, including: pork belly, dried fish, shrimp cakes, small hemp cakes, shortbread, pickled mustard greens with edamame, dragon's beard noodles, preserved dried plums, Aozao biscuits, fried shortbread, tofu pudding, fish head with sesame biscuits, hairy crabs, crab roe noodles, red soup noodles, crispy meat noodles, etc.
