Discovering Delhi's Cultural Treasures
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Red Fort and Jama Masjid in Delhi and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The grandeur and intricate details of the Red Fort are a testament to India's rich cultural heritage and history. Walking through the complex, I was in awe of the Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, and the Moti Masjid. The intricate architecture was stunning, and it was amazing to imagine what it must have been like when it was in its prime during the Mughal era.
Jama Masjid was equally impressive, and the serene atmosphere of the mosque was the perfect escape from the bustling streets of Delhi. The vast courtyard and beautiful architecture, including the three domes and two minarets, left me in awe. Climbing the southern minaret offered breathtaking views of Old Delhi and its surroundings.
While visiting these landmarks, it's important to dress modestly and respect local customs and traditions. Negotiating the fare with rickshaw drivers is also important to avoid overcharging.

The Red Fort is a large complex located near the old town in Delhi. Overall the architecture is interesting and the fort is historically significant, however irritatingly there is an excessively long walk from where you can purchase tickets to the entrance. Also if you a foreign tourist you have to pay considerably more then locals too enter. #wintergetaway

The Red Fort in Delhi is located in Delhi, India, and is the royal palace of the Mughal Empire. Since the Shah Jahan emperor era, the Mughal capital has moved from Agra. The Red Fort is a typical Mughal-style Islamic building located in the old town of eastern Delhi, close to the Yamuna River. It is named Red Fort because the main body of the building is reddish-brown.
Lai Qila means red castle. The whole castle is built with red sandstone. The surrounding walls are towering and extraordinary. They are designed with both aesthetic and strategic factors in mind. You can enter the fort from Delhi Gate or Lahore Gate. Lahore faces Lahore, which was once the capital of the Mughal Dynasty (now located in Pakistan). The buildings in the castle include the Pearl Mosque, the public and private halls, and the Mahale Palace for the Emperor.
The castle was built with reddish-brown sandstones, hence it was named the "Red Fort". It is an ancient architectural site with an Islamic style architecture. The Red Fort, nearly 400 years old, is an excellent place to learn about Indian history and culture. The glorious past of this castle has witnessed the incomparable life of kings of Mughal dynasty. It entrusted the fifth emperor Shah Jahan’s infinite memory of his wife, Taj Mahal, and also recorded the trace of the British invasion of India’s colonies. I felt like I just saw the Forbidden City in China.
Personally, if you want to see Indian beauty, you should come to Red Fort in Delhi and you can enjoy the MM with the eyebrows full of "Bollywood" charm.
Outside Israel, once again encountered the Bah' Temple, this time is the white lotus shape~
The beautiful Red Fort is mysterious and spectacular. It is a World Heritage Site

The design of the Red Fortress represents Mogar, Islam, A fusion of Persian, Tamuri and Hindu architectural styles. In 1858, more than one-third of the internal structure of the Red Fort was destroyed by the British, but the towers and walls of the fortress remained intact.
