Other posts about this place
Located in central Okinawa,
It takes 30 minutes by rental car from Naha Airport, or about an hour by airport limousine bus.
The parking lot is large, so those who rent a car can park comfortably.
The tourist attractions we visited while staying at the accommodation are
Okinawa Stadium (10 minutes on foot), Koza Street (5 minutes by taxi), Yaeshima Park (5 minutes by taxi), Children's Land Zoo (10 minutes by taxi), and Aeon Mall (10 minutes by taxi).
There is nothing around the accommodation, but there is a convenience store right next door.
Check-in
15:00-11:00
As it is a newly built hotel, the clean and stylish interior stood out. The first floor has a reception area and a cafe space that serves breakfast.
The staff kindly guided us through the hotel facilities,
and they prepared all the necessary baby supplies.
A wooden baby bed, bed guard, backrest bathtub, bottle sterilizer, diaper trash can, and waterproof diapers were provided.
I only requested a baby bed and backrest bathtub, and the staff who helped me check in brought them to my room.
Room
Double Room
I booked a basic double room, but the room was smaller than I thought. I could barely open two large suitcases. It wouldn't be a problem if you are traveling alone or with little luggage, but if you have a baby, you should check the room size when making a reservation and choose a larger room to be more satisfied.
The interior and furniture were pretty, and it was convenient to be able to charge your phone and control the lighting through the bed headboard.
I had a very comfortable stay because there were indoor clothes made of T-shirts and pants and slippers that you can wear inside the hotel.
It's a little disappointing that the floor is carpeted.
The bathroom was also very clean and there was no unpleasant smell at all. There was a large bath, so I only used the shower booth to wash the baby in the rented baby bath.
Large bath
On the 2nd floor, there is a vending machine, water purifier, laundry room with microwave, very small gym, lounge, and large bath. Since it is a newly built hotel, all facilities are clean.
There are hot and cold baths, wet and dry saunas,
and there are also baby wash, baby guards, and diaper changing tables.
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion are all provided, so you only need to bring your toothbrush. You can freely bring your toothbrush and other disposable items on the 1st floor.
Breakfast
07:00-10:00
Breakfast is served in the cafe space next to the reception on the 1st floor. Since it is usually operated as a cafe, it was nice to be able to eat in a pretty space.
Some of the delicious foods I ate were
Okinawa soba, curry, beef steak, tacos, Blue Seal ice cream, salad, yogurt, and bread. ㅎㅎ;; There aren't many options, but all the food was delicious.
There's a nursing room right next to the breakfast area,
so I could take care of my baby and finish my meal without going up to my room.
8th floor pool & bar
There's a pool and a bar on the 8th floor. Since the pool is paid, there weren't many people using it, and there were quite a few customers at the bar.
The view is great because there are no tall buildings in all directions and the view is wide open. You can also see the Okinawa Stadium across the street, and it's perfect for having a drink while watching the night view.
Other services
1. Welcome drink
When you check in, you'll receive a welcome drink coupon for the number of people. You can use it at the cafe on the 1st floor or the bar on the 8th floor. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy a drink while watching the night view.
2. Gift for membership
When you sign up as a hotel member, you'll receive several gifts. The sign-up process is very simple. You just have to write your name and email address on a piece of paper and give it to the staff, but they don't even check your email address or name.
Since they give gifts according to the number of people who sign up, two people signed up and received Orion beer and a 1-hour late check-out.
I don't know how long this event will last.
3. Daily events
During my stay, there was a small event where you could write a wish and take the cookies that were placed with it.
If you are looking for a clean and pretty new accommodation,
a accommodation with delicious breakfast,
a accommodation that provides various baby supplies,
and a accommodation with a large bath,
I recommend REF Okinawa Arena by Vessel Hotel.
