A must-visit: Seine River in Paris, France 🇫🇷
#wheretogo
The Seine River is a famous river in Paris, and there’s no better way to explore Paris than a Seine River Cruise. It is one of the most enjoyable ways to take in the iconic landmarks of the city at a leisurely pace.
Many of Paris’ most famous and important buildings, bridges, and attractions can be seen from the river, as you float along the Seine.
In addition, do also consider the evening cruise when night falls, that’s the time you can see all the attractions lighted up beautifully for a wonderful night time experience.
No matter what, Seine River is lovely at all times of the day, it’s well worth a visit!
My rating of this cruise: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!
The Perfect Paris City Walk 🇫🇷🚶♀️⛴️
#timetotravel
When I was in Paris in June, my sister and I walked along the pedestrianised path along the Seine. It is definitely the scenic Paris City Walk.
As the Seine passes through all the landmarks in Paris, e.g. the Louvre and the Effiel Tower, it gives us a lot of pleasure. The Seine definitely adds to the vitality of Paris and makes Paris so charming.
Many would suggest doing a boat tour but since I had already done one when I first visited in 2014, I skipped on that this time.
Be sure not to miss out on the shops along the Seine. They may be tourist traps but the prints and magnets that the stores are selling really encapsulates the charming city, that is Paris; and it makes them perfect souvenirs.

Is Swimming allowed in the Seine River?
🇫🇷 The Seine River in Paris is an iconic attraction that has captivated people for centuries. With its rich historical significance, breathtaking scenery, vibrant cultural events, and romantic ambiance, it embodies the essence of the City of Lights.
You may ask, "Is Swimming allowed in the Seine River?"
The answer is no, BUT, three swimming areas along the Seine River will be open to public by summer 2025.
Swimming in the Seine has been banned since 1923 because of the dangers to swimmers from boats and poor water quality. However, due to the 2024 Summer Olympics, which will take place in Paris, the city invested €1.4 billion in clean-up act. Hopefully, there will be three open-air swimming areas in the Seine River accessible to the public in the future.
Love Locks on the Seine River
My husband and I visited Pont des Arts the Paris well-known love lock bridge years ago during our honeymoon in Europe. This is one of the most popular love locks bridges in the world. Many couples who visit this city of romance will come here to attach a padlock to symbolize their eternal love. So did we. The bridge once collapsed due to the heaviness. The padlocks were then removed. Now the bridge is largely lock-free, but it is still a romantic attraction to visit. You can see the unique architecture and buildings from the river. Fantastic viewpoint.

Paris, one of the seven famous bridges on the Kasina River
Seine River is the heart of Paris, the Paris is divided into two sides, walking around the Seine is probably the most romantic way to visit, the bridge connecting the two sides has also become active Some bridges are suitable for taking pictures, and some are classic movie scenes.
Now we take the Bihakanmu Bridge under the Eiffel Tower as a starting point, follow the Seine River to Notre Dame, and take a day to check out the seven distinctive and famous bridges on the Seine.
Card Route
Bikhamun Bridge - Jena Bridge - Alexandre III Bridge - Art Bridge - New Bridge - Notre Dame Bridge - Saint Michel Bridge
This is a double-decker bridge. The subway passes over the bridge. The pedestrians walk under the bridge. The whole bridge is dark gray, and the pillars are arranged backwards. Walking under the cloister has a feeling of faintness, which is the location of the "Pirates of the Dream".
Jena Bridge
This bridge is under the Eiffel Tower, connecting the Xiajo Palace and the Champ de Mars, standing here to look up at the tower's majesty.
Alexander III Bridge
The most luxurious bridge on the Seine, connecting the Champs Elyses and Les Invalides.
Art Bridge
One of the most romantic bridges in Paris, the railings are iron, the bridge deck is wood, and there is a sense of wandering art.
Although it is called Xinqiao, it is actually the oldest bridge in Paris. It connects the left bank and the right bank of Paris. The arch under the bridge is very beautiful. The new bridge is also the movie "Xinqiao Lovers". The location of the shooting.
Notre Dame Bridge
The first bridge named after the Virgin. The deck decoration is divided into three short, with a dark green decoration in the middle and two short stone carvings on the bridge. Enjoy a castle-like architecture on the Seine.
Saint Michel Bridge
The best landscape bridge for the Notre Dame de Paris, next to the Saint-Michel metro station, one of the most magnificent bridges in Paris.
According to the flow of river water, the French called the north bank of the Seine River the right bank and the south bank the left bank; the development of the right bank forms the main business district and political center of Paris, and the famous coffee shop and Latin area on the left bank are full of literary atmosphere. Looking at Paris from the Seine, the impression is different from any time. Let the river flow freely, and see the scenery where you passed.
Eiffel Tower Paris is stunning 🇫🇷
#europetrip
Standing under the Eiffel Tower in Paris was like stepping into a magical moment filled with history and sophistication ✨.
As I gazed up at its intricate iron structure, I could feel the echoes of the past blending with the buzz of the present. Going up the tower felt like a journey through the ages, with each level offering a unique view of the city's charm.
The breathtaking sight from the top, overlooking the Seine River meandering past famous landmarks, was a work of art. The Eiffel Tower wasn't just a remarkable piece of architecture; it embodied love, culture, and the timeless charm of Paris. It was a moment frozen in time, forever etched in my memory. 🗼🇫🇷 #paris #france #eiffeltower

The Seine River in Paris is a timeless attraction that has fascinated people for ages. With its rich history, stunning views, lively cultural events, and romantic atmosphere, it truly captures the essence of the City of Lights 🌉💖.
Regarding swimming in the Seine River, it has been prohibited since 1923 due to safety concerns and water quality issues. However, thanks to the city's efforts for the 2024 Summer Olympics, there are plans to open three swimming areas along the Seine River to the public by summer 2025 🏊♂️🌊.
Seine Serenade: Parisian Beauty on the River
#winhkflight
The Seine River, winding its way through the heart of Paris, is a symbol of timeless elegance and beauty. As it meanders gracefully through the city, the Seine serves as a shimmering ribbon that connects Parisians and visitors alike to the soul of the French capital.
Lined with iconic landmarks and historic bridges, the Seine casts a spellbinding reflection of Paris's architectural splendor. From the majestic silhouette of Notre-Dame Cathedral to the ornate facades of the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, each monument is mirrored in the tranquil waters of the river, creating a mesmerizing tableau of light and shadow.
Along the riverbanks, leafy promenades and charming quays provide a picturesque backdrop for leisurely strolls and romantic rendezvous. Couples meander hand in hand, while artists set up their easels to capture the timeless beauty of the Seine on canvas. Cafes and bookstalls line the riverbanks, offering a quintessentially Parisian ambiance that enchants visitors and locals alike.
As the sun sets over the Seine, casting a warm golden glow over the city, the river takes on a magical quality that is nothing short of enchanting. From the shimmering lights of the Eiffel Tower to the twinkling reflections of the city's grand boulevards, Paris comes alive in a symphony of color and light that dances on the surface of the Seine.
But perhaps the true beauty of the Seine lies in its ability to evoke a sense of timelessness and romance that is quintessentially Parisian. Whether you're cruising along its waters on a bateau mouche, picnicking on its banks with friends, or simply gazing out over its tranquil surface, the Seine captivates the imagination and beckons you to fall under its spell.
Seine River Cruise in Paris
After visiting the Louvre, walk a short distance along the Seine River, there are ports on both sides of the river where you can board. Also, if you just finished visiting the Eiffel Tower, there is a boarding port on the left bank across the street from the tower. The cost of a regular cruise is around 25-30 euros, with English explanation. There are also luxury cruises with dinner, the cost is around 100 euros. The cruise can take you to enjoy several famous sights in Paris in the river, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Bastille Prison, and so on.
Paris survival skills: Don't carry a bag when you go out, wear ragged clothes, and don't wander around at midnight
Around 10 am, take the train from Nice station to Paris. It takes nearly 6 hours. The train first goes along the Mediterranean coast to Marseille and then heads north to Paris.
Considering the worrying security situation in Paris, it is decided to depart and arrive during the day.
After arriving at Lyon station in Paris, there are many people queuing for taxis and it's raining.
There are a few strange people near the train station, and it took at least 40 minutes to get a taxi.
The plan is to walk around a few famous places in Paris in one day.
The basic route is: Notre Dame de Paris-Louvre-Tuileries Garden-Champs Elysees-Arc de Triomphe-Eiffel Tower-Seine River Cruise.
Arrive at Notre Dame de Paris at 9 am, it is still under repair and can only be viewed from a distance.
Arrive near the Louvre at 10 o'clock, meet with the scheduled teacher, and visit with several other partners from all over the world.
Louvre tips: Tickets need to be booked in advance.
The Louvre is very large (there are 1,000 exhibition halls, and you can't finish watching it for several months), and the historical significance and value of the cultural relics inside are far more than the 'Mona Lisa's Smile'. There are diverse and more historically significant objects worth seeing. The only regret is that there is not enough time to stay for a while.
Come out of the Louvre at about 1 o'clock, and the sky is clear. Walk along the Tuileries Garden, pass the Place de la Concorde after lunch, the Champs Elysees, arrive at the Arc de Triomphe, then go to the Eiffel Tower, and take a Seine River cruise near the tower at sunset, about 1 hour.
Tips:
The best place to watch the tower is near the Palais de Tokyo.

It is recommended to choose a night cruise, the night view is very flavorful

I personally recommend choosing an ordinary tour. The price of a gourmet cruise is slightly higher. You can choose to dine in a cost-effective restaurant
❤Tickets
The on-site ticket price is 14 euros
You can book on Ctrip, the price is about 40 RMB (really fragrant) Remember to save the QR code to the local

There is Chinese explanation on the boat, and a detailed explanation will be given for each attraction
❤Location selection
It is recommended to choose the 2nd floor outdoor as, you can appreciate the beauty more directly, and the photos are clearer
But if it's cold in winter, you can choose a seat on the first floor
❤Precautions before boarding
①Queue up to board the ship in an orderly manner and choose your favorite position
②Also pay attention to thieves on the boat
③The wind on the river in winter is very strong, you need to bring a scarf and thick clothes
④Sitting in an open-air position near the river, you need to take care of your photography items to prevent them from falling into the river
I am three years old who loves to travel, like to follow me
Secrets of the Seine Walk
Experience the heart and soul of Paris with a leisurely walk along the Seine River. This iconic waterway, winding through the city, offers a picturesque path rich in history and beauty. As you stroll, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Louvre provide a stunning backdrop, each view more breathtaking than the last.
Begin your journey near the Ile de la Cité, the historic center of Paris. Here, the ancient streets and charming bridges like Pont Neuf tell tales of centuries past. Wander towards the bustling booksellers and quaint artists' stalls lining the riverbanks, offering a glimpse into Parisian culture.
One of the highlights is the evening walk. As the city lights begin to sparkle, the Seine transforms into a magical place. The illuminated bridges and buildings reflect off the water, creating a romantic and unforgettable atmosphere.
A practical tip: wear comfortable shoes as the riverside cobblestones can be uneven. Also, while the riverside cafes are tempting, exploring the small streets just off the river can lead to delightful and less touristy dining options.
The Seine is not just a river; it's a living, breathing part of Paris. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, a walk along the Seine is an experience that resonates with the soul of the city.

Paris, France | Memoirs of the Flowing Paris
When I first arrived in Paris, I ran from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre to the Arc de Triomphe and all the way to Versailles, following the typical tourist route like every first-time visitor to Paris. The itinerary was packed and rushed, and I couldn't remember what every street looked like, couldn't remember every painting on the walls of the Louvre, couldn't remember any French words other than "bonjour" and "merci," and couldn't even remember the names of the restaurants I had been to.
But what I always remember are the hurried pedestrians in the frame, the laughter of friends around me, the summer night breeze by the Seine River, and the surprise of tasting the limited edition yuzu-flavored PH macarons.
It is the sunset glow reflected on the water surface of the Dule Temple Garden.
Paris, France
Paris is known as the City of Romance mainly because Paris is the cultural center of France, nurturing many famous artists, writers, and architects who fully embody romantic love and imagination in their works, thus producing a large number of buildings and famous paintings that are ahead of the world, making Paris a city that never sleeps, a city of love, and a romantic capital of art and history on the banks of the Seine River.
In addition, Paris spans both sides of the Seine River, with blue skies, white clouds, willows providing shade, and beautiful scenery of green waves and laurel gardens. The culture and life of Parisians are even more rich and colorful, with a romantic style that has earned Paris the reputation of the most romantic city in the world. This has also brought Paris to an unprecedented peak of attraction for the whole world.
World Heritage Site - Seine Riverbank in Paris, France.
World Heritage Site "Seine River in Paris, France", with beautiful scenery on both sides, towering buildings, and various architectural and artistic styles, famous historical sites and scenic spots from ancient times to the present are scattered on both sides of the Seine River.
The beauty of Paris is largely attributed to the slow-flowing Seine River, which divides the city into two parts, north and south. Most of the city's main buildings are concentrated on both sides of the Seine River, making it the lifeline of Paris.
On the banks of the Seine River, the beautiful scenery and elegant charm form a beautiful natural picture. The ancient Seine River has nurtured numerous famous scenic spots and historical sites, such as the Louvre, the Orsay Museum, Notre-Dame de Paris, and the Eiffel Tower, all of which can be fully appreciated. Classical-style buildings are everywhere, including bridges and docks on the Seine River, all of which are cultural and artistic landscapes and masterpieces of world architectural history.
Cruising on the Seine River, with a gentle breeze blowing, one cannot help but be deeply impressed and overwhelmed by the historical landmarks and diverse cultural atmosphere of Paris.
Bridge over the Seine River.
The bridge over the Seine River is said to have 36 bridges. The Seine River is not as magnificent as our Yellow River and Yangtze River, but the river water is clear and calm. Each bridge has its own characteristics in design, and the most magnificent and splendid one is the Alexander III Bridge. The Wang Bridge was built during the Louis XIV era. In the late 17th century, Louis XIV paid for the construction of this bridge, which is a metal-based artistic bridge built specifically for pedestrians.
On both sides of the Seine River, there are plane trees planted. Behind the tree-lined banks are majestic buildings. The palaces on the north bank, the university district on the south bank, the Eiffel Tower on the west bank, and the Notre-Dame de Paris on the city island on the east bank, all exhibit their rich and distinctive architectural styles.
