I have always enjoyed my layover or departure from BKK - the main airport in Bangkok! It is one of the most sleek and sophisticated airport in the city with lots of different duty free shops and lounges. The whole check-in process is quite quick (depending on the airline) and immigration and security is quick too. It has been a while since visited Suvarnabhumi Bangkok International airport. The multi-tiered roof throne of enshrining the relics of Buddha at the entrance of the centre of the airport is impressive. There are also 4 large statues of Lord Guardian standing guard at the far end near security check across the airport is interesting to make this airport special. After passport control, there is a huge display of gods subduing a multi heads dragon. This airport continue to impress like before COVID period. However, there are still some sections of the airport where you will feel very warm due to their design where heat got in and get trapped within.

This trip, I flew with Thai Airways by Thai Smile, heading to the southern destination of Taiwan, Kaohsiung City. Thai Smile just launched direct flights at the beginning of 2023. It was very convenient. The flight took 3.20 hours, no need to stopover in Hong Kong. Thai Smile is famous for arriving on schedule. This trip arrived about 34 minutes early. The plane had 3-3 seats, but it wasn't cramped at all. There was quite a lot of space. Food was served on the plane. It was delicious and suited Thai tastes, with the stir-fried shrimp dish. For those who can't eat spicy food, the spaghetti with chicken was just as delicious. 😋 The airline's management system was very good. The flight attendants were very attentive, worthy of being part of the Thai Airways group. We booked our flight tickets through Trip, which was very convenient. Tickets were issued very quickly and information was updated all the time. It was like having a personal assistant. You could also book a high-speed train through the app. It was awesome! After the trip, we also had Trip coins to collect. What a worthwhile app! Friends who love to travel must arrange this. I highly recommend it. 💕

#AirlineReview Today I would like to review Thai Airways' Airbus 33r. It is a newly renovated aircraft used for short and medium-duty trips such as going to Haneda Airport or Kunming or other occasions. This aircraft is quite comfortable for passengers. The capacity for business class passengers is 31 people. Economy Class can hold 263 people. Every seat has a personal screen. You can use WiFi, but it depends on the airspace of each country whether to allow using WiFi. Economy seats are type 242. If during this time passengers travel to Japan, Kunming, they may be able to sit on this type of aircraft.

Price per Person - 50฿‎ Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Boat noodles and Thailand go hand in hand, and when we think of boat noodles, Victory Monument is the place to go. As per its namesake, boat noodles were originally sold in small bowls on boats, along the Samsen canal beside Victory Monument some 50 years ago. This hidden gem is located around 10mins of walking distance from BTS Victoria Monument. We took indriver ride and used Waze app to guide our way through. This restaurant looks very localised. In fact, we were the only table of foreigners! And you know what they say, if the locals dine there, it must be good! Only one staff (a young lady) is able to communicate effectively in English, the rest of the staffs do not know how to speak but understands a bit of English, hence a lot of hand signing done. However, it was pretty easy to order, as there was a menu with pricing to see. Menu was pretty straightforward. Only beef and pork available. Boat noodles come in 2 sizes, 15฿‎ for a small bowl and 40฿‎ for a big bowl. 2 types of soup base available in normal broth (non-spicy) and Tom Yum (spicy). There are 5 types of noodles, you can just point to the server while ordering. Condiments are foc and available on every table. There are also bags of pork cracklings and crispy dumplings on the table, which is a nice addition to the noodles. They are chargeable; pork crackling for 10฿‎. At the end, you can ask for dessert which is coconut milk cake in a saucer cup, only for 5฿‎. Super tasty and refreshing! Do remember that they close on 15th & 16th of every month.
