Temple Square, located in the center of Salt Lake City, is a group of buildings belonging to the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Latter-day Saints in the center of Salt Lake City, Utah, including the Devil's Gate Temple, Salt Lake City Cathedral, Salt Lake City Assembly Hall, Seagull Monument and Two visitor centers on 10 acres surrounded by walls. Historic Temple Square covers over 14 hectares (35 acres) and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, architecture and a rich artistic heritage. Centered on six steeple temples, the plaza is the global center church of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints. This is a very popular tourist attraction in Utah, with voluntary tour guides from all over the world. It is also the headquarters office, office building, Great Hall, Brigham Young's former residence and so on. In 1830, Joseph Smith founded the Church of Latter-day Saints and advocated polygamy. After his death, more people followed his heir Brigham Young into Utah and built Salt Lake City.
