Inside the hotel, swimming pool is 1 of the highlight, other than the panoramic city view, the exciting pops of colour has made the place insta-worthy for girls. The owner of this hotel is a local Chinese, so you will see a lot of local art and traditional in this hotel. The bed boards in each room have its stories line, as do the paintings in the corridors. The most famous of this hotel is its swimming pool, which is the best instagramable spot of this hotel. There are many KOLs and influencers stay at this hotel and checked in their swimming pool. You can go up there in the evening to listen to DJ music and have a drink. #wheretogo Had a quick weekend getaway to Kuala Lumpur and the KL Journal Hotel was our choice for a two nights stay! No regrets as the location was really convenient! It was about a 10 minutes ride to Pavilion and not forget to mention, the price was really affordable! We arrived the hotel past midnight and the staff was there waiting for us and being real quick to have us checked in. What greet us was the big and clean room with very comfy bed. There are sockets everywhere near the bed and desk. The hotel amenities was comprehensive and lighting was great. The best part- the shower has great pressure and water was hot enough which was was we needed. Do check out the swimming pool at the rooftop. Tho it was small but the whole ambiance was lively and cheerful with a bar called The Swimming Club beside. The Journal Hotel is located in a strategic location in the middle of the Bukit Bintang area. Approximately no more 10 minutes from Pavillion mall. Interested with the interior decoration. Looks modern minimalist and compatible with such a concept, feelings more calm and relaxed. The colors chosen to dominate each space are so refreshing to the eyes. #meetkualalumpur The location of the hotel is superb and excellent. It was easy accessing quite a lot of different places, including the easy access to public train. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. Despite being near to the hustle bustle of the city centre we had a very good night sleep. In theme of price it is very reasonable for being a boutique hotel! All good! The only part is that the swimming pool is a bit tiny but it is ok for those who are not spending a lots of time in the hotel because the are many interesting things happen surroundings the area. Location is superb. Near to many eateries and malls. Staffs attended to us were amazing and attentive. the hotel is clean and well maintained. Beautiful fancy pool and bar at rooftop. For the breakfast buffet was very good, with pastries, many hot options, fruit, salad, an omelet station and coffee/tea/juices.

What I like most is the huge floor-to-ceiling windows in the room. Just by opening the curtains, I can see the charming city scenery of Kuala Lumpur and the iconic Petronas Towers! The night view is even more beautiful. 🏖️Environment/Facilities: There was a welcome drink as soon as you entered the door, which was very thoughtful. The service attitude of the staff is also very good, friendly and professional. The overall design of the hotel is stylish and beautiful, very suitable for taking photos and checking in. Especially the large floor-to-ceiling windows next to the elevator in the corridor, from which you can directly overlook the city street view, it is so beautiful! 💡Notes: I booked a twin room, which was very clean and tidy. The bathroom and bedroom are separated by an opaque glass.
