The Peak Tram 🚞✨
The ride itself was absolutely breathtaking. As we ascended, we were treated to stunning panoramic views of Hong Kong skyline and the surrounding mountains. ⛰️
The tram's large windows provided excellent visibility, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of the city from a unique vantage point. The journey was smooth and comfortable, and we felt safe throughout the entire ride. I was also impressed by the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the Peak Tram. 👀
Overall, I highly recommend the Peak Tram to anyone visiting Hong Kong. It is a must do attraction that offers a unique and unforgettable experience. The stunning views, efficient service, and overall professionalism of the staff make it a top notch tourist destination. 😍❤️

Peaky Tram 🚊
#hongkongtrip
Although Hongkong is famous for tram 🚃, this peak tram is the ultimate of all (kinda of how Peaky blinders are 😜). To justify that, the tram would actually go uphill in 45 degree slope; such a steep hill though. It's definitely situated at one of the peak spots of Hongkong that even the roads 🛣️ leading up to there were quite steep too. At the top, you will almost get a whole view of HK, and there's a Madame Tussauds museum to meet your favorite stars ⭐ too #urbanexplorer#tripblazers#summervacation

The Peak Tram
The ride takes just 7-8 minutes, but climbs at an extremely steep gradient to an altitude of 396 metres, making it feel almost vertical.
How do I get to The Peak by tram 🚋
From Central, take bus 15 or X15 from Exchange Square (MTR Central Station Exit A / MTR Hong Kong Station Exit B1) to the terminus at Peak Galleria, or minibus 1 from Two ifc (MTR Hong Kong Station Exit F) to Peak Galleria. Alternatively, you can take the Peak Tram from Garden Road to the Peak Tower.

PEAK TRAM 🚃 THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM HK🌃
Magnificent view of Hong Kong. It was an amazing day so we could clearly see the victoria harbour as well as all the skyrise buildings. Definitely a must visit spot for tourist. If you have time, you can walk along the path or take the tram back down. A lot of varieties of dining up there as well. Peak Tram has been renovated and the system is easier to use. Tram takes Octopus cards, plus has spots for wheelchairs and strollers.

The Peak Tram (interesting & exciting)
The peak tram is definitely a must see in Hong Kong. The tram is very clean and beautiful and the ride to the peak is very interesting and fun. The sights from the peak are amazing and the higher the tram goes the more beautiful the sights become. The ride is a little weird at first as it pushes you back into the bench chair but after a while you start to get used to it and once you reach the top it's something you can't describe in words. It's really beautiful.
Just take note, book your tickets on trip.com a day in advance as it makes it easier to enter without having to queue to buy tickets.
The staff also allow one to enter the tram and the peak with a stroller so no need to worry about that as the facilities accommodate traveling and entering with a stroller or a wheelchair.
Traveling to the peak tram. You can take the metro to the central station and book a taxi from there as it is a little far and hilly. However, for those planning to walk from the metro station, please be advised to wear comfortable shoes.#hongkong#thepeaktram
Victoria Peak, Hong Kong
Victoria Peak is one of the must-see attractions in Hong Kong. This place is located at an altitude of 428 m above sea level, and the most beautiful view of the city opens from there. The legendary Peak Tram first appeared here in 1888 and is still functioning properly. The tram overcomes the ascent to the top at an angle of 45 degrees in 7-8 minutes. A trailer departs from the bottom point every 15 minutes. You need to get off at the Central Metro Station from the second exit and follow the signs to find the station.
We paid 148 dollars/adult ticket (including return trip by tram).

Hong Kong is so beautiful. The night view is stunning. Go to the Peak for a walk in the evening and enjoy the magnificent night view. There are plenty of restaurants there. You can enjoy cheap deals or delicacies. You can also walk around and buy souvenirs from different shops. There are myriads of souvenirs shops there. You can also mail a post card there which will be a memorable.
The Peak is always The Peak, only Better now
Take the newly renovated peak tram and see the classic best of Hong Kong!
The Peak used to be bustling with buses after buses of tourists. it was difficult to get a photo of yourself with the city without others in it. Believe it or not, now it’s quiet. It’s a bit sad to say that, but hey, it’s still got the beautiful panoramic view of Hong Kong.
Don’t just stay put for one side of the city, go on I the trail and you’d see the island and also the Kowloon side in different views. it’s about an hour walk and you’d find yourself going back to the peak tower in a circle. it’s easy, pleasant and even doable for kids and elderly. Check out the historic benches along the way! Some are even a hundred years old.
The restaurants and shops in the Peak Tower are no longer charging tourists prices, they have become all very affordable. One memorable thing to do is to send a pre-dated postcard - maybe to yourself in the future, or to your love ones!#familytravel

Taking the peak tram
Address - The Peak Tram, 33 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong
The Peak Tram is of the world's oldest and most well-known funicular railways that actually rises to 396 metres above sea level. This was an attraction that we had to try out after seeing many photos and videos of it online. The iconic experience is sitting in an extremely tilted team while travelling up to the peak!
There are also lots of dining and shopping places up at the peak. We got to soak in the gorgeous views of the city from such a high vantage point. Truly a memorable experience!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Amazing Peak Tram in Hong Kong
The Peak Tram, I would say, is definitely one of the most memorable and unforgettable experiences I've had in my life. It surely is a moment worth treasuring and remembering!
As one of Hong Kong's most popular attractions, the Peak Tram is more than just being able to witness stunning views or great shopping and dining experiences. It offers a a diverse and fun filled experience of Hong Kong's heritage and culture which dates back to the past.
Being able to hop on the Peak Tram to the top is the most ideal and lovely way to reach The Peak as many would say. Be sure to give it a shot and hope to see you all there soon!
The Traveling Connoisseur PEAK TRAM
Built in 1888, making Peak Tram difficult to make changes to this vehicle except for a few repairs. This makes the Peak Tram has a memory that is hard to forget by visitors who have ridden it. There are 2 stations on the Peak Tram Line, namely Garden Road Lower Terminus at the center and Upper Terminus at the top. In one trip, the Peak Tram will pass through 4 intermediate stations, namely Kennedy Road, MacDonnell Road, May Road, and Barker Road. However, the Peak Tram will not stop at these stations unless a passenger requests the train to stop by pressing a button on the train or on the platform.

The Peak Tram began operating in 1888. The Victorian Era train is going to the highest peak in Hong Kong. This holidays, I'm blessed that my mother and mother in law visited my family in Hong Kong. We happened to enjoy the journey by the Peak Tram.

Hong Kong | I stumbled upon this place by chance, and saw another side of Central
After the first sentence, there is a line break. Few tourists come to sweep the streets of the Western Mid-Levels, where the air is fresh and the trees provide ample shade, forming a stark contrast to the steel jungle of Central at the foot of the mountain.
Here, you can experience a unique picture of Central and also capture the comings and goings of the Peak Tram.
Street photography spots recommended: MacDonald Road, May Road, Robinson Road
Hong Kong The Peak.
A must to buy your ticket beforehand to save time buying tickets at the counter as they are many tourist visiting the place. Bought the peak tram and sky observation tickets through trip.com with great discount as compared to others app (e.g klook) and received confirmation within 5min.
Beautiful view and manage to catch the sunset and night view of Hong Kong.

🚠Transportation guide:
1. Effort-saving method - Tram up and down the mountain: Exit from J2, follow the signs or navigate to "Peak Tram", it's about five or six hundred meters away
2. Bus up, tram down: Take bus X15 from the Admiralty MTR station exit to go up the mountain, with both routes having a bus about every 20 minutes
3. Hike up, tram down: Get off at the University of Hong Kong station and exit from A2, turn left at the exit to enter the entire hiking route~ It's roughly from the Graduate House of the University of Hong Kong—Morning Trail at Lung Fu Shan—Hatton Road—Peak. Make sure to go along Lugard Road, where you can see the full view of Victoria Harbour. Hiking beginners should not choose a route that's too exhausting
-
📷Photo spots:
✔️May Road: After coming out from "High Lane", enter May Road, cross the road and head to the left front, continue up the mountain from the small path on the left side of the tram tracks, this route offers a clear view of Victoria Harbour and the Central skyscrapers
✔️Barker Road: This spot allows you to capture the effect of passing by the tram, which looks very nice, and there's also a British vibe
✔️Sky Terrace 428: The tram terminus, I entered with a combo ticket, which allows an overlooking view of the entire Victoria Harbour
✔️Lion's Pavilion: This place doesn't require a ticket to capture the panoramic view, it's quaint and great for photos
✔️Lugard Road: A free spot to view the panorama, but it requires hiking to reach. Personally, I find it a bit dangerous, but the photos are indeed stunning and impressive
-
✔️Travel tips:
For those uus who want to take photos, make sure to choose a good weather day, and the group should arrive at the peak before sunset🌇Trust me! I could watch the night view of Victoria Harbour a hundred more times!!

Hong Kong Parent-Child Trip: Overlooking the Scenic Victoria from the Peak Tram
On Saturdays and Sundays, I took the kids on a parent-child trip to the Hong Kong Peak Tram🚡. Here are 2 ways to enjoy the trip:
1️⃣ Tram🚡
2️⃣ Hiking🚶♀️
👉Route One🚡Tram:
⏰Duration: It takes about 7 minutes to go up the mountain by tram. Sit on the right when going up and on the left when going down to see the beautiful scenery of Victoria Harbour and the mountains.
👉Route Two🚶♀️Hiking:
Suitable for young people. It takes about an hour to climb the mountain along the uphill route.
Besides taking the tram,
the Peak Plaza and Sky Terrace are worth visiting, especially the Sky Terrace, where you can overlook the scenic Victoria Harbour.
Tickets
There are tram + Sky Terrace combo tickets available online for those interested in purchasing in advance. The Sky Terrace observation deck can also be bought separately for 60 yuan per person. It's even better on a sunny day, as the scenery might not be visible on cloudy days.
Transportation
Take the Hong Kong MTR directly to Central Station🚇, exit at Exit J and walk for about ten minutes. On the right-hand side, pass through and follow the signs for 'The Peak Tram', and when you see the iconic logo, you've reached the entrance of the Peak Tram's main station.
Guide to Viewing the Peak Tram
🚠Coming to Hong Kong, the Peak is a must-visit place.
🚠To get to the Peak, the best choice is definitely to take the Peak Tram, but be prepared to queue, especially during holidays; in addition, you can also take a bus to the top; if you don't care about the money, you can just take a taxi.
🚠Of all the experiences, the best one is definitely the Peak Tram, this ancient mode of transport, which has brought convenience to Hong Kong people to climb the peak since 1851. But at that time, it was powered by steam, with limited carrying capacity, and the carriage was divided into three classes. The first class seats were for the wealthy businessmen living on the top of the mountain, and later changed to be reserved for the Governor of Hong Kong. Today's tram has been upgraded from electric traction to intelligent control system, and the passenger capacity has also been greatly increased.
🚠When taking the tram, try to sit on the right side when going up the mountain, you can see the beautiful view of Victoria Harbour all the way. Because the track is steep, it feels like all the buildings on both sides have become the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and you can even see Victoria Harbour through the roof of the car.
🚠It's better to go to the Peak in the late afternoon, you can see the beautiful view of Victoria Harbour at sunset, and when night falls, you can overlook the bright night view of the Pearl of the Orient and the lights of thousands of homes, which is even more beautiful.
📝Peak Tram Ticket Buying Tips
It is recommended to choose a round trip➕Sky Terrace package, which is the most cost-effective.
Be sure to choose a good visibility day to go up, otherwise you won't see anything in the fog.
Buying tickets in advance may not be faster than buying tickets on the spot, this is divided into two queues, after arriving at the scene, it's best to ask first, so as not to queue in the wrong line.
When there are many people, the Sky Terrace will limit the flow, if you want to wait for the highest point to enjoy the beautiful view, it's best to prepare in advance.

Great food near the riverside in Hong Kong and would love to visit the Peak again due to the bad weather conditions during my previous visit. Apart from the skyline, the cantonese cuisine and land of dim sum is one that I am always thinking about. Would love to visit the outskirts of Hong Kong such as repulse bay to enjoy the lovely beaches and shatin.
