Rainy day travel~
Today I checked into Tuji.Xiangyu
🌧️
I used to really hate traveling on rainy days
Now I've actually fallen in love with it, walking in the rain on Quanzhou's West Street
There were very few people on the street today
Took a short stroll and then back to the hotel~
🛀🏻
Took a bath back at the hotel, it's really a bit cold on rainy days🥶
Soaking in a hot bath and putting on a face mask is so comfortable~
⏲
Finished tidying up after seven o'clock~
Nested on the sofa🛋️ and played with my phone for a while
🏠
Natural wood style, the bathroom has a large bathtub🛁 and the toilet is separated, which I really like, very clean and tidy
The bath towels are high-temperature disinfected, rest assured to use
The first floor is a restaurant, the afternoon tea is served downstairs, the environment has a great atmosphere
🎫
You get an afternoon tea coupon when you check in 🉑 and there's a 20% discount
There's also a very thoughtful Quanzhou travel guide, really helpful for those unfamiliar with the routes in Quanzhou
🚿
I especially like this design, the button🔘 turns it on directly, very convenient
No need to twist by hand anymore
Their elevator corridor has a faint scent which is very nice
Especially good recently with the rainy weather being more humid, the fragrance is comforting~
🏠
This guesthouse is hidden in an alley
Just a few minutes walk from the West Street when you go out~
That's all for today's share
Going to watch some TV📺
📍Address: No. 28, Huaxiang, Licheng District, Quanzhou City

Quanzhou Family Trip | Stay in the flower alley of the red brick ancient houses
Stay in the flower alley of the red brick ancient houses. Compared to West Street, I prefer the red bricks and green plants of the flower alley, the quaint environment for an afternoon tea, the little cats on the street, a whole street of delicious food, getting so tired that I drink big sips of milk in the homestay, and before sleep, I still want to watch by the stove for a while, another simple travel weekend spent with my child.

If you take advice and come to Quanzhou, you should still stay in the ancient city
It's been many years since I last visited Quanzhou, and this year, just before the Spring Festival, I brought my child to experience the dragon chasing in Quanzhou🐉.
The new status of the ancient city as an intangible cultural heritage has endowed Quanzhou with more charm. This city of world cultural heritage is not only full of enthusiasm but also has a strong sense of life and human touch.
Walking through the streets and alleys of the ancient city, one can always feel the unique warmth of Southern Fujian❤️🔥.
There are 22 world cultural heritage sites, which are both close and far away.
The travel boom in Quanzhou this year let me experience the pressure of following the crowd, but fortunately, I chose to stay inside the ancient city this time, which reduced the pressure of transportation significantly.
❤️Therefore, choosing the right accommodation location is particularly important when traveling to Quanzhou❗
✅It is recommended to choose to stay in the ancient city when visiting Quanzhou, not only because it is close to the attractions but also because there are many surrounding delicacies with long business hours. Mainly, there are small white cars in the scenic area that you can hail to stop, and it only costs 2 yuan to get anywhere within the ancient city. It is very suitable for parents with children.
✅This time I stayed in a guesthouse that was transformed from a standalone century-old top scholar's house, Zhuangyuan Tuji·Alley & Guesthouse (West Street Flower Alley Store).
Eating, drinking, and shopping are very convenient. You can take a small white car just a few meters away from the door, and downstairs is a variety of Quanzhou delicacies. Next door, you can put on a flower🌸, which is very convenient, and it is full of the atmosphere of Southern Fujian life. The children don't need to walk much when going out, which makes them very happy.
It's rare that their house is also equipped with an elevator🛗, which saves guests the trouble of carrying luggage up the stairs, and the whole environment is very quiet, completely unrelated to the bustling crowd outside.
However, the bigger problem with coming to the ancient city is parking. I chose to park at the Cultural Palace, where it costs about 1 yuan per hour. After parking, it's very convenient to take a small white car directly to the destination.
