This zoo offers discount tickets with sea life (next door), Madame Tussaud’s or the Sydney tower eye and can be bought at the door or online. Inside, you’ll find a range of animals such as tree kangaroos, crocodiles and of course your friendly koala which you can pay extra for a photo with. Please note that koala holding or touching is illegal in New South Wales (including this zoo). As it is small, it took myself and my boyfriend about an hour and a half to get round. The place is very easy to find and convenient to visit, which took us around 15min walk from Wynyard station. I did all of my bookings for the place using their website, and I would recommend you do that also since they have multiple deal for their attractions. I believe Trips also have something similar, so you can check it out here, too. The place really lives up to their name, which is wildlife Sydney Zoo. Their animals are mostly Australian origin like kangaroo, koala, platypus, and many more. Apparently, they have a small education show introducing their kangaroo, which i found to be quite adorable, and by the end of our visit we walked passed the koala resting spot. It looked so comfy and calming. I stand there for a few minutes mesmerized by adorable sleeping pose. They also have another education show about their koala, but we missed it 😔. But still was a good place to visit and chill for a half day trips.
