Taiping Zoo and Night Safari ✨

We started off on a train ride to get a sense of the layout and subsequently walked to see some animals up close. We went during the day where most animals would be sleeping. Would not mind going back again for the Night Safari option. The Zoo keeper that drive the train was friendly and explaining the animals and their background story through out the 30 minutes round trip in the zoo.The animals had a lot of space and were in their natural environment. Overall, I highly recommend Taiping Zoo to anyone looking for a fun and educational day out with their family. For the price paid, I think its a very good time to spend with family here. Only downside were some areas were closed. Also suggestion to have events throughout the day such as feeding spectacle or something more engaging with visitors. Animals looked like were taken good care of. Very suitable place for parent-child travel, and there are many animals to watch, and amazing night safari.

#2024wish I had visited Perak Musuem on the weekend, it was truly an amazing experience. This musuem is the oldest musuem in Malaysia, situated in Jalan Taming Sari, 34000 Taiping, Perak. Perak Musuem is a treasure trove of the history, its highlights the history of the state, featuring historical and archaeological gems with even remains of animals and artefacts. Perak Museum has 4 galleries and outdoor exhibitions: 1. Gallery A - Taxidermy and Archaeological Exhibition Gallery 2. Gallery B - Nature Gallery 3. Gallery C - Cultural Exhibition Gallery 4. Gallery D - Aboriginal and Pottery Gallery 5. Outdoor Exhibition The musuem is open daily from 9am - 5pm, admission fee is RM2 only. Muzium Perak❤️

The Perak Museum is a public museum located at the junction of Jalan Muzium and Jalan Taming Sari in Taiping, Perak, Malaysia. It is the oldest museum in Malaysia and highlights the history of the state. Very cheap entry with many informative display. Spacious, air conditioned and clean. Can spend a good hour (or more) learning. Love the animal display. I didn't expect a high standard for a small town like this. Hope more people will make it a point to visit so they can keep this going. There's some antique cars and boat display outside. There's a small children's playground that seemed decent (apart from the broken swing) No full stars rating because there was a children's corner but nothing was there. And there wasn't any soap in the ladies toilet. The toilet also has be flushed "creatively ". I don't know why this seem to be a common thing with Malaysian spots. History and archeology tour to Perak Museum!

The Perak Museum in Taiping is the first and oldest museum in Malaysia. It was founded in 1883 by Sir Hugh Low, the fourth British Resident of Perak (1877 to 1889). I was first visit this Perak Museum, the ticket at that time is RM2.00. There was a lot of different kind of exhibits. There have bride gown of Chinese culture, different kind of traditional things, that really special and attractive to me is the skeletal of animals. Other than that, specimen if birds also very attractive. Old vintage car is also exhibited at the outside. The most amazing is the ancient human remains, this is my very first time to see. It's worth to see all the culture in Malaysia. Worth to pay a visit although the content is more or less similar to other muziums in Malaysia. The special part is the section with all animal skeletons, its great to view animals from different perspective. Entry fee is RM2 per person. Nice artefacts, animals section, with traditional clothes, musical instruments and such. A serene and quiet place

If you are in Taiping this is the place you would want to visit, located at Maxwell hill surely this is the wettest place in Malaysia. Although rated as 3 star hotel the feature of this hotel is outstanding. Rating as per below : (this is my personal preference only others may not) Room rating (3/5) The room comes with bath tub (standard size) the cleanliness of the bath tub is quite so-so, so dont expect much. Bed is nice and comfortable with extra pillow also you can hangout at the outside where there is a balcony Public Pool rating (4/5) Pool was big and the water is clean, there is a section for children and toddler area. The deep of the pool is just nice for grown ups Food rating (2/5) Hotel restaurant could adds in much more variety to the breakfast menu, but the price buffet for breakfast is cheap so you get what you paid off Facilities (4/5) Other than walking distance to the maxwell hill there is also an adventure park right next to the hotel

Nice View, Clean, Close to Nature

Taiping 3 Days 2 Night Trip ❤️

First Time travelling to Taiping, Perak. Booked this Hotel, very comfortable and sleep well. All Tourist Spot is very very near within 1-2KM only, best if you have bicycle. Breakfast included and not too bad. However would be better if overall cleaniness improve a little bit more. One of the best hotel to stay with the great service n accomodations. It's a clean place to rest when u already walk whole Taiping to searching for a nice views n places. This is the large room suitable for whole family with a great n affordable price.
