The Sunday roast was the star. The beef was tender, cooked just right, and the gravy had a proper depth of flavour. The vegan option was solid too, with a good nut roast. Could have done with a few more roast potatoes, but the ones they had were crispy and fluffy inside.

The staff are so friendly and attentive - they really make you feel welcome. It's a lovely spot for catching up with friends.

The mussels were definitely the star. They were so fresh and cooked just right, really hit the spot. The whole vibe of the place was nice and relaxed too, which made for a good evening out.

The outdoor space is great for families, and the food is definitely cheaper than other pubs in the area.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Even on a busy Saturday lunch, tables get cleared fast and you're not waiting ages at the bar. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back.

Chicken supreme and green curry were spot on. Staff squeezed us in on a busy night, which was a lifesaver.

Love the vibe here, proper cosy pub. They’ve got a great selection of local beers on cask. Live music was a nice touch for a Thursday night.

The gin tasting with Toby was so fun! He really knows his stuff and kept it light. Ended with a lovely meal, perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends. The whole thing just flowed nicely.

A very dog-friendly spot, which was nice. The staff were cheerful and accommodating. Had a decent lunch here with my family. It was a bit noisy with all the groups, but overall a fine experience for a casual meal.

Loved the patio for a drink before lunch! The menu had some really interesting small plates. We tried the grilled octopus with smoked paprika oil – the texture was spot on. Moved inside when it got a bit breezy. Service was friendly and quick.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, they remember my usual order. It's a comfortable spot, never feels cramped even when it's busy. A reliable local.

Great spot for a quick bite. Food's solid gastro-pub fare, comes out fast. The back gin bar is a nice touch.

Had our wedding reception here. Mel, the event coordinator, was a star. The team was on it all night, really attentive. The space itself has such a unique vibe, which was exactly what we wanted.

Matt and the team are good hosts. The pub has a nice vibe for a casual drink. They even kept my forgotten umbrella behind the bar, which was a solid move.

Service was on point. They sorted out a small hiccup with our order really quickly.

The beer selection here is fantastic, loads of taps and a fridge full of proper Belgian stuff. Just the right kind of dim, cosy lighting too, perfect for settling in.

Wanted a quick bite and the vegan options here are solid. Hearty and tasty, even for a non-vegan like me. Got served fast at lunch rush, which is all I needed.

Popped in for the Sunday roast special. The place has a really cosy, lived-in feel - worn leather booths and low lighting. It's the kind of spot you could easily settle into for a few hours. Food was spot on.

Popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for dinner. The fish and chips was massive, couldn't finish it all. Good for the price.

Sam and Bella were lovely, really friendly and made the evening feel relaxed. Good service, they were a bit of a laugh too.

Great selection of local ales. The dark ones from small batches are the best. Music fits the pub vibe perfectly.

A proper old-school pub, feels like stepping back into the 90s. Had the steak and ale pie. The real star was the house red they suggested with it – a solid, earthy Rioja that cut right through the rich gravy. Made the whole thing. Bit of a wait for a table on a Friday, but that's the charm.

Decent spot for a cheap bite. The food's tasty, and they've got a solid drinks list – loads of beers and spirits. Nothing fancy, but it's reliable.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, always busy with families. Food's solid, the Sunday roast is a winner. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Just a good, reliable spot.

The steak and ale pie was the star. So much tender beef, and the pastry was perfectly crisp. We sat by the fireplace, which made it all feel so cozy and warm. A really lovely spot for a quiet dinner.

The staff were great with my food allergy. They checked with the chef and explained everything. Felt safe ordering. Quick and considerate service during a busy lunch.

Stopped in for a pub dinner while on a work trip. The food was incredible, honestly some of the best pub grub I've had in ages.
