The view is the main draw here, no question. Pizza was surprisingly good too, a nice break from the usual Greek spots. Lunch service was quick enough for a decent stop.

Maria took great care of us. The coffee and desserts hit the spot on a hot Chania afternoon. Only wish we had more time to sit longer.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Pizza with prosciutto was solid, crust nice and crispy. Bruschetta was decent too. Place was busy but we got a table fine. Not the cheapest in Paleochora but you can tell they use good stuff. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

We stopped here after the beach and I was happy to see they had a few lighter options on the menu. I went with the Greek salad and the tomatoes were actually ripe, which is not always the case. The feta was creamy and fresh. Portion was decent for the price. My only small complaint is the bread could have been warmer, but the salad itself was really satisfying.

Stopped here after Balos. Food was solid, felt proper Greek. Quiet spot, nice break from the crowds. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

The veggie burger was surprisingly good, my friend said hers was the best she’s had in a while. Service was quick too, perfect for a casual catch-up 😊

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the moussaka—pretty solid, actually. Place is small but the menu feels properly Greek. Staff were nice, not pushy. They even brought out raki and a little ice cream at the end, which I didn’t expect. That was a nice touch. Maybe not the cheapest, but I left full and happy.

Good selection of beans here. Found a light roast that's usually impossible to get in this area. Picked up a bag to brew at home. Staff let me smell a few before choosing, which helped. Place was a bit busy but they didn't rush me. Nice little spot if you're into making coffee yourself.

We've been eating here for years and the meatballs with ouzo sauce are still my favorite thing on the menu. The place gets busy but the food stays consistent. Vasili's crew always takes care of us.

The staff fixed my order mix-up right away, made a fresh pizza without any fuss. That meant a lot to me. Pizza was good too, lots of toppings, just like usual. The seating was comfortable, which I always appreciate. Nice to have a meal without any hassle for a change.

Stopped by for a quick bite around noon. Got the grilled chicken plate — came out fast, still hot. Portion was solid for what you pay. Staff didn't hover, just checked if I needed anything else. Fine spot if you're in a hurry and want something decent.

Stopped here for lunch after a walk along the harbor. The view of the water is really nice, you can see the boats from the table. I had the grilled fish and it was fresh, simple, not overdressed. Just the way I like it. Service was friendly, no rush. A bit pricey for the portion, but the quality was there.

The lamb chops were really good, cooked just right. Portions are generous for the price, which I always appreciate. They even brought out some complimentary wine and watermelon at the end, a nice little touch. Service was friendly, nothing too fussy. Just a solid, comfortable meal without any hassle.

Came here before opening time and the owner looked a bit annoyed at first. But he let us in anyway and honestly the food was the best I had in the village. Place is clean too. Just glad we waited it out.

Came here for a late lunch and honestly left full. The portions are big — I ordered the moussaka and it could’ve fed two. Price was fair for what you got, especially with the house wine being cheap and decent. They also brought out free raki and a little sweet thing at the end, which was a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but solid.

Nice quiet place off the main street. BBQ pork was super tender, full of flavor. They threw in some dessert and raki at the end which was a nice touch.

Stopped by for a late lunch and left completely full. Got the lamb and it was a solid chunk of meat, not some tiny fancy portion. For the price, honestly hard to complain. Place was busy but not chaotic. Only thing is the waiter took a bit to come back for the bill, but whatever. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

We stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table right by the sand. The shrimp linguine was really good, plenty of shrimp and the sauce had a nice kick. Service was quick, which I appreciated since we were hungry. Only thing is the chairs are a bit low for the tables, but it's a beach bar so no big deal. Nice spot to just relax for a while.

Came for the Greek coffee and honestly it was the best part. Strong, thick, exactly how it should be. Right on the beach so you get that nice breeze while you sip. Staff were chill, not rushing me at all. Just wish the cup was a bit bigger 😅

The gyro here cost more than I usually pay, but honestly it was worth it. Meat was juicy, tzatziki was fresh. Place was busy but the guy at the counter still managed to be friendly. Not somewhere I'd go every week, but if you're craving a proper one, it hits the spot.

The grilled octopus here was properly done—tender, with a nice smoky char. We sat outside and the view was decent, nothing over the top but pleasant enough. It's a family-run spot, so the service felt personal, not rushed. Prices were fair for what we got. Only small thing: the bread could've been warmer. But overall a pretty good stop.

The pork chop was massive and came with a nice local red that paired well. View over the sea is lovely. Service kept things moving without rushing us.

Solid food, right by the sea. Had the grilled fish and some local wine by the litre—good stuff. Place has been around forever, so it gets busy. Book ahead, seriously. Service was a bit rushed but fine.

We came for dinner and the service was attentive and friendly. The lamb shank was incredibly tender and full of flavor, definitely a dish I'd order again.

Lamb chops were proper. Big portions, fair price. Place is tucked away, not touristy. Felt like a real neighborhood spot. Maybe not fancy but who cares. Solid meal.

Decent little taverna, homemade lemonade was the highlight. Pasta pretty good too, though service gets slow when busy.

Stopped by for lunch and ended up with the daily special—stuffed vine leaves that tasted like they came straight from someone’s yiayia’s kitchen. The staff actually took time to explain what everything was, which I appreciated since my Greek is basically nonexistent. Portions were decent for the price. Would’ve liked a bit more bread on the side, but honestly didn’t need it.

The fried zucchini flowers and tzatziki were solid, and the portions were huge—definitely enough for two. Service was quick too. Just wish the dessert wasn't complimentary, would've paid for more of that.

Stopped by for lunch after walking around the old town. Found it down a side street, easy to miss but worth the detour. Had the boureki—fresh, well-seasoned, not greasy at all. Service was quick and polite. Place was quiet, which was a nice break from the crowds. Decent price for what you get. Would go back if I'm in the area again.
