Came for the sunset, ended up staying for the moussaka—best I had in Greece. They even threw in some raki and dessert at the end. Nice touch.

Stopped here after a walk by the harbour and honestly the grilled octopus was the move. Super tender, not chewy at all. The stuffed calamari was pretty great too. Service felt really genuine, like they actually wanted you to enjoy the food. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that’s probably a good sign. Would come back for that octopus again 🐙

Came here twice on our trip. Salmon was cooked right, braised beef was tender. Staff remembered us the second time, which was nice. Place fills up fast so book a table before you go. Solid spot for a proper meal without the fuss.

The tzatziki was super garlicky, almost too much for me. But the shrimp risotto and sea bass were spot on, arrived hot and fresh. Complimentary dessert at the end was a nice touch. 😋

Lamb was properly falling apart. Kleftiko came out a bit salty but the meat itself was tender enough that I didn't care. Nice outdoor seating. They threw in some dessert and raki at the end which was a solid touch. Would go back for the lamb alone.

Great spot right on the beach, breakfast sandwich and cappuccino hit the spot. Service was solid.

Loved the lentil soup and stuffed veggies — proper Greek flavors, and the portions were generous for the price. Would come back just for that.

The lamb shank was solid and the portions are generous for the price. Wish they had a better wine list to go with it though, beer felt like the safer bet.

The saganaki with honey is seriously good—big portion and so tasty. I came with a couple of friends and we basically fought over the last bite 😅 The lamb kleftiko was tender too, sauce on the stifado was rich. Cozy spot with a nice view, staff checked on us a few times. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but fine for a casual dinner.

We sat outside in the garden—pretty quiet for a Tuesday. Service was attentive without hovering. I had the grilled octopus, which was decent, maybe slightly overdone on the edges, but the lemon potatoes made up for it. Prices are fair for the area. Fine spot if you want a low-key meal.

Went for the gyros but ended up liking the pastitsio more. That one’s got that baked top, real comforting. Moussaka was decent too, not dry at all. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was a bit busy but we managed. Good spot if you want something homemade without the fuss.

The seafood risotto was the star — creamy, loaded with shrimp and calamari. Moussaka was decent, though I'd skip the milkshake next time, way too sweet for my taste. A glass of crisp white wine would've paired better with the risotto honestly. Sat by the window, watched the sunset over the water. Nice spot for a relaxed evening.

The lamb was properly slow-cooked, fell apart with a fork. Portion size surprised me for the price—honestly thought they'd give less. Place is a bit out of the way but that's fine, no tourist markup. Just wish they had more seating inside, we waited a few minutes. Still, for what you pay, you get a solid meal.

The boureki here is the real deal. Had the rabbit too, both plates were solid. Lunch for two came to €33, which felt fair for what you got. Sat outside in the alley, but honestly I was too busy eating to care much about the setting.

The waffles with fresh ice cream were a hit—every flavor we tried was spot on. I’m picky about freshness, and the fruit on top actually tasted like it was just cut. Slightly sweet for me, but the texture was perfect. Would come back just for that.

Stopped in for a late lunch and honestly the Greek salad caught me off guard—massive bowl, really fresh tomatoes, good chunk of feta on top. They also had fresh calamari that day, which you don't see often in this area. Nothing fancy about the place, but the food did the talking. Would go back if I'm craving proper Cretan flavors again.

Solid meze spot. Winter salad and spicy sausages in red sauce were the standouts. Staff clearly care about what they do. Good for a chill dinner.

The cocktails were well made and the hookah stayed fresh for a long time. Ended up staying longer than planned since the service was so attentive.

The lentaris family really knows how to take care of you. Their own farm ingredients make such a difference, you can taste it in everything. The smoked pork was tender and flavorful, the goat too. Pool was cold but honestly perfect after eating. Just wish they had more vegetable sides, felt a bit heavy on the meat.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table near the window. The grilled octopus was decent, tender without being chewy. House wine did the job. Host was friendly enough, not over the top. Prices fair for what you get. Place gets a bit noisy when it fills up, but that's on us for coming at peak time. Pretty good spot overall.

Specials board was solid. Fresh stuff, changes daily. Owner actually knows how to explain the dishes. Good wine pick too.

Came for the hike, stayed for the food. Portions are big and everything tasted like proper Crete. They even gave us homemade cake on the house—nice touch.

Sat in the back garden under the grapevines, really peaceful back there. Had the lamb and some traditional Cretan dishes, everything cooked properly, no shortcuts. House wine was decent too, went well with the food. Bill came out fair for what we got. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would sit outside again next time.

Went back a second time because the T-bone veal was that good. Fries were crispy and salty just right. Probably the best meal I had on the island.

The view over the lake is killer, but honestly the food holds its own. Had the moussaka, really well seasoned. Staff were nice too.

The grilled octopus was spot on, really fresh and tender. The lamb was good too, but the octopus is what I’d come back for.

Stumbled onto this place our last night in Maleme and honestly wished we'd found it earlier. The food was the best we had the whole trip. Sat outside, nice and quiet, not too touristy feeling. Menu's pretty big but the daily specials are the way to go. Only thing is we came late so some stuff was sold out, but what we got was solid.

Been coming here for years and the octopus is still spot on. Chef even came out to say hi again. Tzatziki's solid too. Place just feels right.

The beef stifado here was the real deal. Big chunks of meat, super tender, rich sauce that soaked into the potatoes. Portion was huge too. Wish I'd found this place earlier instead of on the last night. Only had it once but that stew alone makes me want to come back.
