The spanakopita was proper homemade, you could tell. Run by a mother and her son, real cozy vibe. Wish I had room for more cake. 🥧

The dakos was really good and the homemade lemonade hit the spot. Staff stayed friendly even when it got busy. Comfortable spot to just sit and take your time.

The fish platter was generous and tasted fresh. Portion size alone is worth it. Nice spot by the river but honestly I was too busy eating to care.

Been coming here for years now. The food stays consistent, that's what keeps me walking back. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking. Staff remembers you, which is nice. Had the usual again last week, still tasted exactly like the first time I tried it. That consistency is hard to find.

Stopped for one freddo espresso and somehow stayed over an hour. The coffee was spot on, and nobody rushed us to leave. Just nice to sit and watch the street for a while.

The grilled skewers were so fresh and well-seasoned, around €2 each. We ate a lot for two people and it stayed under €30. That free dessert with the ice cream center was honestly the highlight for me.

Truffle pizza slice was huge and fresh, really hit the spot. Line moved fast too, so no stress if you're just grabbing something quick in Chania.

Stopped here for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The view of the square is really nice, especially in the evening. Had the local wine and it was pretty good. Service gets a bit slow when it's packed, but the prices are fair so I didn't mind. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot for a casual bite with a view. The vegan options were decent, and the staff actually knew their wine list—helped me pick a solid Greek white.

The grilled octopus was spot on. Tender, charred just enough, not rubbery at all. Greek salad had real feta, not that processed stuff. That’s basically all I need from a meal like this. Prices felt fair for what you get, especially the portion sizes. I’d come back just for the octopus alone.

Stopped by for a late breakfast last week. Sat outside, watched the boats. Had the Greek salad and some bread, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Place was busy but not crazy. Owner came over, remembered my usual order. That kinda thing keeps me coming back. Prices are fair for what you get.

The tzatziki here is really fresh and garlicky, just how I like it. Portions are generous for the price. Wish there were a few more veggie options on the menu, but the wood-fired pita made up for it.

Been coming here for years now, and the moussaka never disappoints. Still tastes like it did the first time I walked in. Owner still remembers us and always sends out a little raki at the end. That consistency is why I keep going back. Place gets busy, but it's worth it.

The fish soup was really good. Hot, fresh, came out fast. Skordalia on warm bread hit the spot too. They even brought honey raki and a bit of ice cream at the end, which I didn't expect. Solid quick lunch stop. No complaints.

The view over the water is lovely, no doubt. Greek salad was fresh, probably the best one we had the whole trip. Service was friendly too.

Been coming here for years now. Lamb souvlaki plate still hits the same every time—big portion, fries on the side, tzatziki that actually tastes homemade. Place hasn't changed much, which I appreciate. Just remember they only take cash, that caught me off guard the first time too. Solid spot if you're in the area and want real food without the fuss.

The bifteki was solid, really juicy. Place was chill, good for a casual dinner. They even threw in a free dessert at the end, nice touch.

The menu leans creative, Greek fusion style. We ordered a few things to share and the olive puree stood out, really smooth. Fisherman's pasta was decent too, well put together. Place was busy but we got our food quick enough. I'd go back for that puree alone, honestly.

We stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table by the window. The view really made it feel like a proper break. Service was quick, which I appreciated. I had one of their traditional dishes with a modern twist—well prepared, nothing too heavy. Just the kind of relaxed meal I needed. Maybe a bit busy around noon, but fine overall.

The private lounge by the pool worked well for our group. Comfortable space, staff checked in on us without hovering. Just wish the shade covered a bit more of the seating area.

Best dinner I had in Chania, hands down. The lamb was so tender it fell off the bone. Prices run a bit high but honestly worth it for that quality.

The live Greek music in the evening really sets a lovely mood. Meat was tender and full of flavor. The owner's daughter made us feel properly looked after.

Nice little place right in the middle of Georgioupolis. Sat down for a drink, service was friendly enough. Nothing fancy but fine for a quick stop.

Service was on point even with the place completely packed for the game. Our server kept checking in, made sure drinks never sat empty. Appreciated that kind of attention when they were clearly slammed. Only thing is we waited a bit longer for the bill, but honestly, they were running around the whole time. Would come back for that level of care.

The Caesar salad was a letdown—nothing like a traditional one. Burgers and gyros are the safer bet here. Portions are decent for the price though.

Stopped here for lunch after the beach. Got the moussaka and it was proper home-cooked, not the tourist stuff. Family running it were nice, even chatted a bit. Place is simple but that's the charm. Only thing is we waited a while for the food, but it came out hot and fresh. Good spot if you're in Stavros and want real Greek food.

Fresh orange juice and a big bowl of fruit with yogurt and honey was exactly what I needed after the beach 🍊 Staff even spoke French with us, which was a nice touch.

Stopped by without expecting much. The big grilled meat platter was seriously good, juicy and well-seasoned. Greek salad was fresh too. Dimitri took care of us the whole time, super attentive. Honestly, for what we paid, it felt like a steal. Only thing is the place got a bit loud later on, but I’d still come back.

Had the double trouble with egg and mozzarella sticks. Burger was solid, messy in the best way, and that egg just made it richer. For the price, the portion felt right, not huge but enough. I'd grab it again if I'm in the area. Just wish they had more seating, it got a bit cramped.

The linguine with truffle oil was the standout — rich but not too heavy. Mussels were fresh too. Place sits right on the beach, which is hard to beat. Service friendly enough. Just wish they had more Greek options on the menu.
