Tried the Streuseltaler here - super tasty and the staff got us in and out fast. Great spot for a quick catch-up with friends. 😊

Cozy little place, great vegan cakes—the pistachio one was a hit. Wish they had a wine to match, but the oat latte worked.

Currywurst was decent for €2.90. Fine if you're in the city center and want something quick. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The bread and butter flavor sounded weird but actually worked pretty well. Creative rotating menu, decent portions for the price. Fun little spot if you're into trying unusual ice cream.

Solid schnitzel right on Alter Markt. Big portions. Service was fast but kinda rushed, place was packed.

The seasonal menu had a nice Balkan twist, and the portions felt fair for the price. Cozy traditional pub vibe, though it got a bit loud later in the evening.

Great Kölsch selection and the place was packed with locals. Prices fair for the Altstadt. Solid spot if you want the real Cologne vibe without tourist traps.

Been coming here for a while now. Gyro plate is always fresh and the fries stay crispy. Staff remembers you. Solid spot in Nippes.

Adana kebab was solid. Well-seasoned, decent size for one person. Free Turkish tea at the end hit the spot. Place was busy but food came quick enough. No complaints for a lunch stop.

Tom Yum Goong and Som Tam were spot on. Pad Thai had that proper wok hei, not too sweet. Big portions, five dishes plus two beers for €50 — pretty fair for the area.

Food took forever on a slow Tuesday night. The schnitzel was solid though, crispy and juicy. Wish they'd get the timing right.

The gnocchi was solid and the waiter Roberto really took his time explaining the menu in English. Appreciated that since my German is still a work in progress.

Fries were spot on—crispy, salty, just right. Even with a line out the door, the service moved quick. Got a beer to go with it, and honestly, that combo hit the spot. Not fancy, but for the price, you can’t complain. I’d stop by again if I’m in the area.

Popped in for a quick bite and found a spot upstairs near the high tables. The coffee was decent, nothing fancy, but the place had a nice calm vibe. I noticed they have power outlets up there, which came in handy while I charged my phone and ate. Good enough for a stop if you're in the area.

The apple pie with almonds was really good, and the outdoor seating was lovely in September. Staff even helped us out when we needed to change the baby.

The Argentinian rump steak was really tender, cooked just the way I asked. Our server Kristina checked in at the right moments without hovering. Made the whole dinner feel easy. Only small thing—the place got a bit loud later in the evening, but nothing that ruined it. I'd sit near the window side next time, seemed quieter there.

The nut slice was massive and really tasty. Pastry selection is decent too. Outdoor seating works well when the sun's out.

Lunch set was solid — fresh fish, careful prep, no fuss. My Japanese friend said it holds up against Tokyo spots. Dinner’s a bit steep though. Calm room, polite staff.
