The menu’s small, but the schnitzel was spot on. That sauce it came with—really pulled the whole plate together. Nice mix of flavors without overdoing it. Simple, honest cooking. I’d go back just for that dish.

The cakes were lovely and the place has this old-fashioned charm you don't see often. Service was attentive. A bit pricey for what you get, but fine for a quiet afternoon.

The baked potato alone is worth the trip—massive, loaded with everything, and actually filling. I had the steak too, cooked just right. Wine list was solid. Service kept up even though the place was packed. Only thing: it gets loud. Like, really loud. But I'd still go back for that potato.

Stopped by for brunch after seeing the cathedral. Quiche was solid, salad fresh. Staff helped my friend with the wheelchair without making a fuss — appreciated that. No vegan stuff on the menu, so keep that in mind. Fine for a casual bite.

Stopped by for breakfast and grabbed their gluten-free pancakes — pretty solid, not too dry. Staff spoke English which made ordering way easier for me. Place is small but cozy. Only thing: took a bit to get the food, but I wasn’t in a rush. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

We stopped in after our train got delayed, and honestly the staff was so kind about it. They even helped us in English, which I really appreciated. The food was fresh and tasted homemade, not heavy at all. They brought us tea and a little dessert on the house, which felt thoughtful. Just a nice, calm place to land.

Landed hungry and grabbed a quick bite here before my flight. Chicken breast was actually juicy, not dry like most airport food. Service was fast enough that I didn't stress about boarding. Place was a bit busy but we found seats easily. Good spot if you're flying out and want something decent without the usual airport food gamble. 😊

We had a great meal here! The food was delicious, the server was friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Highly recommend!

Cozy spot with a nice vibe. Staff were friendly, food was decent. Kitchen got a bit backed up when it got busy, but nothing crazy.

The French toast with vanilla ice cream really got me. Warm, crispy edges, cold melt on top. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Place has that simple, no-fuss vibe. Only thing, it got a bit busy around 10. But for a fast breakfast before heading out, it worked well.

Stopped by for a beer and a quick bite. The house kolsch is solid, worth ordering again. Food comes from the butcher shop next door—fresh, simple, does the job. Nothing fancy, but that’s fine. Place has a good local vibe, easy to relax in. Service was straightforward, no complaints. Decent stop if you’re in the area and want something unpretentious.

Stopped by for breakfast on a busy morning. Got the house breakfast—butter really stood out, creamy and fresh. Place was packed so service dragged a bit, but the food made up for it. Solid spot if you're not in a rush.

Solid aeropress coffee. Colombian was smooth. Granola with yogurt did the job too. Cool spot near uni, bit hipster but fine.

Amazing ! Very good quality and quantity of food. Lovely staff and nice location. And we had a discount of 50% on everything. Thanks !

Stopped by for tea and a slice of cake. The tea menu is really interesting, lots of options I hadn't seen before. WiFi was solid too, which is always a plus. The cake was decent, though I wished the sponge was a bit fresher. Nice place to just sit and relax for a while, not too loud.

We were visiting Cologne for a city trip and looked for a brunch place to be with a friend. I am so happy The Fork recommended Frau Mahèr. The waiter and the Restaurant manager were absolutely a delight, the waiter had a great smile and spoke wonderful English. The food overall was delicious, I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. Croissant and homemade jam and the pancakes. My partner had the Shakshouka. All of it delicious. And wonderful, highly recommend.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lemon croissant is still my go-to. Always fresh, always hits the spot. Carrot cake's solid too, not too sweet. Coffee does the job alongside. Place gets busy but that's fine, they keep it moving.

Came here on a random evening, no big expectations. The food was solid, especially the pasta—cooked just right. Service though, kinda all over the place. One waiter forgot part of our order, then another one fixed it. Took a while but whatever. Place has a nice buzz to it, not too loud. Would probably come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t have to wait long for a table. Got the schnitzel—pretty good, fresh and cooked right. Portion was big, almost too big for one. Fine for the price.

Pasta was solid, pizza even better. Place has this chill two-floor setup, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff were alright, not overly chatty but got the job done. Heads up though, kitchen shuts down at 9pm sharp. I almost missed it myself. Good enough for a casual bite if you're in the area and not running late.

Stopped by for a scoop last week. They got a ton of flavors, some you don't see everywhere. Tried the Dubei one, pretty creamy, kinda different. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something sweet. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The staff were genuinely kind, patient with my English. Felt comfortable eating alone here, which isn't always the case. Food was decent, nothing extraordinary but solid. Maybe slightly overpriced for what you get, but the service made up for it. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The lemon cake was pretty good, coffee decent too. Quirky little spot, felt very homey. Just wish they had more seating.

Food was solid, portions big enough that I didn't need dessert. Drinks though, bit steep for what you get, and they're not part of the buffet. That caught me off guard. Still, the spread had enough variety that I'd come back. Just maybe stick to water next time.

Cozy spot with books stacked everywhere and soft jazz playing. Really easy to just sit and hang out. Service was friendly, though a bit spacey at times.

Tucked away from the main street, really cozy for a relaxed breakfast. Coffee was solid and the price felt fair. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but no complaints overall.

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the cathedral. Coffee is standard Starbucks, nothing special but fine. Got a cappuccino and just relaxed for a bit. Service was quick enough, even though it was busy. Only thing is the outdoor tables are a bit close together, but that's okay for a quick stop.

Came for the food, stayed for the staff honestly. They helped me track down my wallet after I left it behind—didn’t even make me feel dumb about it. Had a gluten-free dish that was actually solid, not an afterthought. Drinks were decent, nothing wild. Place gets busy, so don’t expect instant service, but they’re nice about it.
