The staff were great with the kids, and the wine list had some nice options for the grown-ups. A solid spot for a family meal.

Lovely spot by the river, perfect for a sunny lunch. The terrace seating was very comfortable, and watching the swans drift by was so relaxing. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel effortless. A really pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Popped in last night, the live singer was a lovely surprise. Food was solid, and they’re dog-friendly which is great. The wine list had some interesting local options, went with a glass of red that paired nicely with the steak. A good spot for a relaxed evening.

Been coming here for years. The outside seating is perfect for a quiet pint after work, always seems to have a spot free even on sunny days. That's what keeps me coming back.

Decent spot for a casual meal. The space is clean and quite roomy, which is nice. Service was prompt. Prices are very reasonable, so it's good value overall. A solid choice for a straightforward dinner and a drink.

Really liked the different rooms and levels, made our catch-up feel more private. Buffet was solid, plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going.

The screens for sports are everywhere, makes it easy to watch a game. Had a pint while catching the match, decent spot for that.

Came for the seabass after a friend mentioned it. Really nicely cooked, flaky and moist. The whole menu looks promising, but honestly, the lighting and those dark wood tables just made it a really comfortable spot to unwind.

The interior is lovely, much more refined than your typical chain pub. The historic staircase and original fireplaces give it a proper, civilised feel. A nice spot for a quiet business lunch. The artwork collection is a good touch.

Been coming here for years. The Shepherd's Pie is solid, proper comfort food. Good portion for the price.

Steak pie was spot on, proper comfort food. Filled potatoes hit the mark too. Quick service, got my order in no time. Just what you need for a fast, filling lunch.

Thursday's Chick 'n' Mix is my go-to now. The portion is huge for the price, and the crispy chicken bits are just the right kind of greasy. Magda remembered my usual order this week, which was a nice touch.

The staff here are genuinely friendly and attentive. They make you feel quite welcome, which is nice. Service was a bit slow on a busy Friday evening, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Came here for a Sunday roast with friends. The roast beef was spot on, and those giant Yorkshire puddings were a proper treat! The bread and butter pudding was a cosy end to the meal. A really nice, relaxed vibe for a catch-up.

Lovely independent music venue. The bar staff were super friendly, and service was quick. Good selection of drinks to choose from. A nice, relaxed spot to catch some live music.

Stumbled upon this spot during a bike ride. The beer garden was a nice find on a sunny afternoon. They had decent gluten-free choices, which was helpful. A solid place for a casual drink and a bite.

Popped in with a couple mates. The vibe was cosy, almost romantic - bit of a laugh for us. Food was spot on, really tasty. Staff were dead friendly.

Nice pub with a lovely garden. The menu had some interesting choices you don't see everywhere. I went for the braised lamb shank – it was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone. A solid, tasty meal in a relaxed spot.

The steak and ale pie was the highlight. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the filling rich and tender. Could have used a bit more gravy, but the flavour was spot on. That's what I come for.

Great spot for live music. The band last night had a nice, relaxed set that fit the pub's vibe perfectly. Not too loud, just right for a pint and a chat.

Lunch was nice. The staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole thing feel relaxed. I liked the vibe - it was just a good place to be for a bit.

The rooftop bar offers stunning views of Cambridge, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion or a relaxing evening.

The bang bang cauliflower is so good, I'm still thinking about it. Perfectly crispy with that spicy-sweet sauce. Giancarlo was lovely, but honestly, the cauliflower stole the show.

The steak and ale pie was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The crust was just right. Friendly service that makes you feel right at home. A lovely, comforting meal.

Grabbed a takeaway breakfast here. The scrambled eggs were so fluffy, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The avocado on the side was perfectly ripe. It was a nice, simple start to the day.

The steak and ale pie is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is perfectly flaky and the filling is rich and hearty, packed with tender beef. It's exactly what you want from a classic pub dish.

The staff really knew their gins and rums, helped us pick something new. Perfect for a catch-up with friends.
