Tried the chicken sharer platter for the first time. The wings had so much flavour, and those tenders were juicy inside with a really crispy coating. Just a solid, tasty plate of food.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The Oakham Citra was spot on, honestly the best pint I’ve had in ages. Food was decent too. Just a solid place for a beer.

The pancakes were fluffy and fresh, which I really appreciate. The historical setting is a nice touch too.

The burger was cooked just right, and the fries were super crispy. What really stood out though was the service - fast, efficient, and the staff were genuinely friendly.

The Sunday carvery is solid. The roast beef was cooked just right, and the gravy had a nice depth to it. Good portion sizes.

Great spot right by the station for a pre-train drink. Sat outside in the sun, which was lovely. The house red was surprisingly decent for a quick glass. A bit pricey for what it is, but the convenience is hard to beat.

I had a wonderful dining experience thanks to the exceptional service from the staff, especially Emily and Chloe, who were both friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

Solid local pub. Feels authentic, not trying too hard. Grabbed a pint after work, the regulars were friendly. Good spot if you just want a classic pub vibe.

Popped in for a quick bite. Staff were really friendly and efficient, which was nice. Appreciated that they let me swap the side salad for fries without any fuss. Solid casual spot.

A solid local pub, slightly off the beaten path. Ideal for a quiet pint. The beer selection is decent, and the bar staff are efficient. Good spot if you have a dog with you. Food is fine for what it is.

Cottage pie and hunter's chicken were spot on. The mash on the pie was creamy, chicken was juicy. Exactly what you want from a pub meal.

Lovely spot for a quiet evening. The staff were genuinely friendly and chatty, which made the whole visit feel relaxed and easy. I found a comfy corner seat and just enjoyed the music. A really nice, low-key place.

Good spot for a quiet drink. Near the hospital, so convenient. Clean and comfortable. Just what we needed.

The Red Lion offers a lovely atmosphere with great service, making it a perfect spot for lunch. The pub food is some of the best I've had in a while, and I highly recommend it!

The cauliflower miso dish was a real standout, really inventive. Limited veggie options though.

Lovely spot for a warm afternoon. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and it's nice they're dog-friendly. The live music adds a decent vibe. Could do with a few more shaded tables, though.

Popped in for a midweek pint and a bite. The fish and chips were solid—crispy batter, proper chips. Service was friendly and quick, which is just what you want on a Tuesday. A reliable spot when you can't be bothered to cook.

Popped in on a Friday afternoon for a solo pint. The vibe was just right for a quiet wind-down, really relaxed. Drinks menu had some interesting local ales I hadn't seen before. A solid local spot.

Service was quick, staff were friendly. The dumplings were clearly handmade and tasted great. But for the portion size, the price felt a bit steep.

Nice spot on the old barge. Got a quick lunch here, the burger was decent. Good for a fast bite. Live music on weekends adds to the vibe. 👍

Loved the outdoor tables. The sharing nibbles were spot on - peppered squid was tender, halloumi chips crispy. Just a really nice vibe for a sunny afternoon.

Friendly staff, they offered tasters of the ales to help me choose. The food was good, but I really liked the vibe - the lighting was just right and the wooden booths felt cosy. A nice spot to unwind.

A decent Wetherspoon's with a proper pub feel. I like the booths and the fireplace. Food is straightforward but arrives hot, service is friendly. It does get very busy on match days though, so timing is key if you want a booth.

Popped in on a busy Saturday. Jem was handling everything solo and still kept things moving. The burger was spot on, really juicy. Nice, relaxed vibe for a family lunch.

Decent drinks, fair prices. Their chilli chicken was spot on - really enjoyed it. The beer garden out back is a nice touch on a sunny day. Good veggie choices too.

Reliable local spot since others closed. Staff are efficient, which is key for a quick business lunch. Good that the car park is open again - makes it a practical choice.

The food was really tasty, fresh ingredients and all. But honestly, for the portion sizes, I found the prices a bit steep. You're paying more for the presentation than a filling meal.

Been coming here for years. Corben and Ola are always so on it, really polite and helpful. That kind of consistent service is what keeps me coming back.

The 2 for £14.99 deal is a solid find. Food was tasty, though the portions were a bit on the small side.
