A proper pub. The rotating cask ales are always spot on, which is exactly what you want from a place like this.

The staff are so lovely here. The manager came over and gave us a taste of a new pastry that wasn't even on the menu yet. It was such a nice touch and made our catch-up feel a bit more special.

Been here a few times with my kids. The portion sizes for the little ones are massive, they never finish it. Staff always double-checks about allergies without me asking, which is good. A solid spot for a family dinner.

The staff were really nice, even when it was packed. I had a small issue with my order, and they sorted it out calmly and gave me a refund when I asked. It felt very straightforward and took the stress out of the situation.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Quick, polite, and they never make a fuss about us needing to use the downstairs area for a quiet moment. It's that kind of consistency that keeps me coming back.

Popped in for a coffee with a friend. It's a nice spot to catch up without breaking the bank. The latte was good, not too strong. We ended up staying for ages just chatting, which was lovely.

Popped in for a quick pint and ended up just staring at the ceiling for ages. So many incredible old details in the woodwork you'd miss if you didn't look up. The whole place has that proper, worn-in feel. Lovely spot.

Been here a few times with the family. The sharing buckets are decent, good for a casual meal. The snack boxes and wraps are alright too. Parking at the back is handy, saves the usual hassle.

Cool spot. Loved the vibe, never gets too loud. Decor is unique. Yeah, it's pricey. But you get what you pay for here.

A solid spot for students! The chicken katsu curry was spot on - crispy outside, tender inside, and the sauce had a nice warmth to it. Service was quick and friendly. My wallet didn't cry, which is always a win.

The staff are always so friendly here. It's a nice spot for a coffee, they remember my usual order. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for a quiet morning.

The staff were so lovely even though it was packed. They remembered my name from the reservation and checked in just the right amount. Really made us feel looked after.

A decent spot for a casual evening. It’s got a nice local feel. The outdoor seating is fine, though it did get a bit chilly later on. Drinks are pretty straightforward. A solid choice for a relaxed drink.

Quick lunch spot with a good range of hot and cold options. Everything was fresh and tasted fine. Got a sandwich and soup, service was efficient. Convenient for a 30-minute break between meetings.

The kebab itself was really good, but honestly, the best part was the space. It's got these high ceilings and big windows, just feels so open and airy. Makes a quick takeaway meal feel a bit more relaxed.

Ordering on the app is easy, but the food when it arrives can be hit or miss. My salad today had some wilted greens, which was a bit disappointing for the price. The chicken was fine, but the freshness of the vegetables just wasn't consistent with my last visit.

Friendly, lively crowd. The woodwork from the old ocean liner is stunning—spent ages just looking at the details. A nice bit of history while you eat.

Drinks are fairly priced, which I appreciate. The 2-4-1 cocktail deal is a solid find. Service was friendly and quick. Good spot if you're watching your spend.

Our server Josie was incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing our dining experience with her excellent service and delightful food.

The Sunday roast was served in a giant Yorkshire pudding, which was a nice touch. Loads of meat and veg tucked inside. Felt very cosy and generous for the price.

Great little pub. The pork scratchings were a treat, and the staff were happy to suggest a local ale that went perfectly with them.

The homemade garlic and herb sauce is so good, I'd come back just for that.

This place is in the CAMRA guide for a reason. The real ale selection is decent, and the main room is a good size. Went for an early dinner, food starts at 4pm. It's a reliable spot for a proper pint, no fuss.

Popped in for a coffee and grabbed a cinnamon swirl. It was still warm, flaky on the outside. That's the kind of thing that makes a random Tuesday better. The croissant looked great too, might try that next time.

Solid Guinness here, properly poured. The new electronic darts board is a fun addition, keeps track of the score for you. Nice little upgrade for a classic spot.
