Been coming here for years. It’s always a bit dark and loud, but honestly, that’s part of the charm for me. Feels lived-in. The free street parking after 6pm is a lifesaver, makes popping in easy.

Right by Lime Street station, so popped in before my train. Used the app to order, which was dead easy. Food came out quick - just a decent burger and chips, nothing fancy. Did the job for a rushed meal.

The steak frites were spot on, honestly. The peppercorn sauce had just the right kick. It's a quiet, cosy spot for a proper meal.

Got lucky with a table on a Friday, only waited 5 mins. The queue stayed long all night though. Four pasta dishes and drinks came to just over £80. Food was fresh and tasty. Enjoyed watching the pizzas being made in the open kitchen.

First time trying their Sunday roast. The beef was so tender, and the crispy kale on top was a nice surprise. Portions are huge for what you pay. Will be back for that beef!

Popped in for a real ale. The bar staff really know their beers, helped me pick one. Lovely spot, good range of cask ales.

Free parking is a huge plus. The walk into Chester along the river is pleasant and easy. It meant we could relax and not worry about the car, which made the whole outing feel much more straightforward.

Nice pub in Chester. The bar staff were really friendly, even though it was our first time in. That kind of welcome is nice. Had the steak and ale pie, proper comfort food.

The lamb shank was so tender it just fell off the bone. Really fresh, full of flavour. The rice was spot on too, not dry at all. A solid meal.

Shaz was so cheerful and attentive. The sirloins were cooked perfectly, and the sharing platter was lovely.

The steak and Guinness pie was really good. The whole place has this warm, cosy vibe with dark wood and soft lighting. It just feels like a proper pub. Prices are decent too.

This little spot doesn't look like much from the outside, but their set lunch is a steal. Got the chicken curry set today and it was honestly way better than the pricier places nearby. Just solid, tasty food.

Been a regular for years. The quality's still as good as ever, which is why it's a local favourite.

Been coming here for years and the quality never drops. Gemma’s service is always spot on—friendly and quick, even when they’re busy.

Great spot for a post-walk drink. Right by the beach and the bus stop, super convenient. Their house red was a bit simple, but it hit the spot with the salty air. Just what you need after a day out.

Been coming here for years, and their prix fixe menu is always a solid choice for dinner. Fresh, tasty, and never disappoints.

Mia was so helpful when I was deciding, really appreciated her suggestions. My salad arrived quickly and the greens were incredibly fresh and crisp. Just the kind of quality I look for.

The chef made a dish off-menu for me, which was a really nice touch. The staff are very considerate. Food was pretty good overall. A bit on the pricey side, but a decent experience.

The food looks nice and tastes fresh. The menu accurately describes the spice levels, which is useful.

The chicken here is always spot on. Juicy, flavourful, never dry. It's my go-to when I just want a solid, no-fuss meal that hits the spot every single time.

The giant mozzarella stick was a proper showstopper. So gooey inside, with a crispy golden crust. A fun way to kick things off, though it's definitely a shareable portion!

Popped in for a quick bite. The chicken schnitzel was spot on, crispy and hot. Staff were quick and polite, got me in and out in under 30 mins. Perfect for a solo lunch.
