The mulled wine hit the spot on a cold evening. Tried a few dishes and honestly everything was tasty, though the place got pretty busy.

The beef stew was solid—tender, rich, exactly what I needed after a long day. Laura handled everything without me having to ask twice. That kind of service makes a difference. Place was busy but we got a table fast. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The burrito bowl was solid. Chicken came out juicy, rice had decent flavor, portion was big enough that I didn't need anything else. Place sits right off Andrássy so it's easy to find. I'd grab it again if I'm in the area.

Popped in for coffee, ended up having the apple pie too. It was decent, pretty good actually. Coffee was fine, nothing fancy but well-made. Place has a nice local vibe, not too crowded on a weekday afternoon. Pie could've been warmer, but it hit the spot. Fair price for what you get.

Came for a slice, left with a box to take home. The selection is really wide—something for every mood. I appreciated that they had a few lighter options too, not just the usual heavy stuff. My slice was fresh, the crust held up well. Only thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but that's probably a good sign.

The kimchi pancake was the real highlight—sharp, cheesy, and it held up nicely with a glass of dry riesling. Brunch spots usually mess these up, but this one had actual balance. I’d go back just for that. Maybe skip the coffee, though. It came out a bit lukewarm.

The duck was solid—crispy skin, properly cooked. Live music in the background worked well, not too loud to talk over. Place is a bit off the main tourist route, took me a few extra minutes to find it. But that's probably why it felt more local than the usual spots around town. Fair price for what you get.

Good spot for a quick drink. Draft beer was fresh, bartender didn't keep us waiting. Nothing fancy but it worked.

The Crunchy Brisket Taco was solid - crispy cheddar shell, soft brisket, guac on top. Worked way better than I expected. Service was friendly too.

Stopped by for a quick coffee before my flight. Opens early, which helped. WiFi held up fine for checking emails. Place is basic but does the job. Right by the airport bus stop, so location's hard to beat. Prices are fair for what you get. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for, but solid if you're in the area.

Nice spot, coffee was solid but the brownie came out a bit dry. Cool decor though, felt cozy inside. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

The garden out back is the real draw here—lively but not chaotic. Cocktails were solid, and the price felt right for what you get. Live music was a nice bonus.

The smash burger here is solid — patties are juicy and that house sauce really ties it together. Probably one of the better spots I've tried in Budapest for this style.

The gyros plate with halloumi was the highlight—huge portion for the price. Staff got me in and out fast, which I appreciated.

The vegan goulash needed more substance, but that langos with olives was fresh and hot. Cold toppings threw it off a bit.

The piano music was a nice touch—kept things relaxed without trying too hard. I had the grilled sea bass with a glass of dry Riesling, and honestly the wine pairing made it work better than the fish alone. Food came out fast, everything tasted fresh. Waitress let me take my time deciding on the pour, which I appreciated.

The duck was spot on, crispy skin and all. Shrimp soup had a solid kick to it. Didn't feel rushed even though we walked in near closing.

Stumbled into this ruin bar and honestly liked the vibe. Walls covered in random art, mismatched furniture, feels like someone’s weird living room. Beer selection is solid, prices fair for the area. Bartender was chill, up for a quick chat. Not the quietest spot but that’s kind of the point. Good enough that I’d swing by again if I’m nearby.

Came here on a quiet weekday morning. Coffee was solid, not fancy but done right. The place has that old Budapest feel, you can imagine the writers hanging around back in the day. Menu's pretty big, I just had a pastry and an espresso. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Prices are fair for the location. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

The cortado was spot on, and the barista really knows what they’re doing. Small place, but the staff made me feel comfortable. Would stop by again if I’m in the area. ☕

The lighting in there is really warm, makes you want to stay longer. Coffee was solid, pastries looked good too.

The Quattro Formaggi here is really good. I've had it a few times now and the cheese amount does vary a bit from visit to visit, but when it's right, it's spot on. Service was friendly too. Nice spot if you're in the mood for pizza and don't want any fuss.

The snickers cake was really good — moist, not too sweet, the right amount of chocolate. We grabbed a few slices to share and honestly could've ordered more. The display case is huge, so it took me a minute to decide. Staff were friendly too, even when it got a bit busy near the counter. Just wish the seating area was a little more comfortable, but that's minor.
