Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the sushi caught me off guard. Salmon tasted fresh, rolls held together nicely. Place is tiny, more of a grab-and-go spot, but I sat down anyway. No complaints.

The chimney burger was a fun twist—bread held everything together really well. Portion size felt fair for what we paid.

Stopped by for coffee and ended up having the full English breakfast. Solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Banana bread was the real winner though, moist and actually tasty. Service was quick too, which I appreciated since I was in a bit of a rush. Place has a decent vibe for a quick bite.

This restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast experience with excellent food and very friendly service. Highly recommended!

The lasagna was the best thing I ordered. Everything else was solid too, prices felt fair for what you get. Staff were professional, no complaints there. Indoor area is pretty cramped though, but the outdoor seating saves it. I'd sit outside if you can.

The portions felt a bit small for what we paid, but the owner was nice and helped us pick flavours. Easy to chat without shouting, that’s a plus.

The hummus was creamy and the pita came warm, really hit the spot. Plenty of veggie options too, which I always appreciate. Interior has some nice art on the walls, made it feel cozy.

The eggplant shakshuka was really good — came out piping hot with warm pita, and that creamy tomato base with the eggs was rich without being heavy. Their house-made iced tea was a nice touch too, not too sweet.

Tom yum was spot on, spicy and sour just right. Mango sticky rice finished the meal nicely. Staff didn't hover, which I liked. Solid spot if you're craving Thai.

The sushi itself was really fresh, decent cuts for the price. But man, that 15% service charge on top of everything stung a bit. I get it's standard in some places, just felt like a lot for the level of attention we got. The place was pretty cramped too, tables are close together. Would probably order takeout next time instead.

Lovely spot to sit with a book and a slice of cherry pie. Warm vibe inside, though seating’s a bit tight if you’re planning to camp out with a laptop.

Came for a quick lunch, food was decent and the free Wi-Fi worked well. Portion size felt a bit small for the price though.

The upstairs area with pool and darts gives it a proper pub feel. Landlord was friendly enough. Beer selection does the job.

Stopped by before my flight — glad I did. Staff let me try a few local dishes, which was nice. Portions were big, food tasted fresh. Nothing fancy, but solid. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The pad thai was solid and that chili oil on the table was seriously good. Ended up buying a jar to take home. Service was quick too.

The food was really tasty, everything tasted fresh. But honestly the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. Also got charged extra for bread, nobody mentioned that upfront. Kind of annoying. Flavor was good though, just not sure about the value.

The coffee here was genuinely good, and I liked that they had oat milk without me having to ask. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable for staying longer.

Stumbled in here after getting off the tram. 32 taps, mostly local stuff. Bartender helped me pick something solid. Burger was okay, sauce was a bit weird though. Cool basement vibe, good spot to hide from the heat.

The ambiance at SALT is breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The regional wine pairings complemented the courses beautifully.

No. 2 of Fine Dining in Budapest

The service here is exceptional, with attentive staff who genuinely care about their customers. It's a great place to enjoy a meal and feel welcomed.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, place has that real Greek vibe, felt like a mini getaway. Got the grilled octopus, pretty fresh and tasty. Staff spoke a few languages, which helped. Only thing, took a while to clear the empty plates. Not a big deal though.

Falafel pita was solid—fresh, warm, decent crunch. Menu’s got a bunch of stuff, kinda hard to pick. Service was chill, no complaints there. Place is small though, felt a bit cramped. Fine for a quick bite if you’re around.

Been coming here for years and the waffles are still just as light and crispy. Order at one window, pick up at the other. No seating, but for a quick bite it works.

The tapas here are really good, especially the shrimp in garlic chili oil and the sirloin. Service was attentive without hovering. Only thing is it gets a bit crowded, so the noise level went up as the evening went on. Still, a comfortable spot to sit and take your time. I’d go back for those shrimp alone.

The goulash was proper—rich, smoky, the kind that sticks to your ribs. Chicken paprikash had that deep paprika flavor, creamy but not heavy. Bread on the side was still warm, homemade. Honestly didn't expect that level of comfort food. Portions were decent for the price. Just wish the place wasn't so packed, had to wait a bit for a table. But yeah, solid spot.

The cheesy dumplings were solid and the portion size honestly surprised me for what we paid. Service was fine, nothing fancy, but I left full without feeling ripped off.

The goose pâté and beef tartare with bone marrow were the standouts — plating was really nice too. Perch and breaded veal trotter were solid, though the veal could’ve used a bit more seasoning. I liked the room, felt comfortable without being stuffy. Decent value for what you get, especially in this area.

The pho is decent for what you pay—broth’s clean, noodles taste fresh. Just wish the portions were more consistent. Seating’s cramped at lunch rush.

Cozy spot, no doubt. I went for the pork and the portion was huge—could've easily fed two. Paired it with a glass of local red, which worked better than I expected. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking. Maybe not the place for a refined wine list, but it did the job.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, pasta was solid. Got the carbonara, creamy but not too heavy. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Prices felt fair for the portion. Place was busy but not chaotic. Probably one of the better Italian spots around here.
