The scrambled eggs were done just right, and the welcome felt genuinely warm. Prices are fair for what you get. Solid little breakfast stop.

The caipirinha here is seriously good—one of the best I've had in the city. Bartender knew his stuff and pointed me to a local cachaça I hadn't tried before. Place is small but has that cozy, dimly lit vibe. Staff were friendly without hovering. Just wish they had a few more seats at the bar, but that's a minor thing.

Stopped by for a drink last week. Whiskey selection is seriously impressive, same for rum and gin. Bartender knew exactly what to suggest when I said what I usually drink. Place has that proper local bar feel, nothing fancy. Prices are fair for what you get. Only downside is it gets a bit crowded later on, but that's probably a good sign.

Been coming here for years and the quality never drops. Got the chocolate cake again—still as good as the first time. Prices are fair for what you get. Solid spot for sweets.

The pistachio gelato here is genuinely good, and the sugar-free option doesn't taste like a compromise. Paying by weight felt a bit pricey for what I got, but the quality made up for it.

The caramel coffee came in this little grandma cup, felt like sitting in someone's kitchen. Quiet enough to actually read. Staff left me alone mostly, which I appreciated. Tea was nice too. Place has that worn-in feel, not trying too hard. Just a good spot to disappear for an hour. Wish the chairs were a bit comfier though.

The lamb corma was decent, better than most places around here. Staff were friendly enough. Not sure why some reviews are so harsh.

Tiny place in the castle district, easy to miss. Got a strudel and it was decent, not fancy but tasty. Price was fair for the size. Would grab another if I'm back that way.

Been coming here for a while now, and the cheesecake never disappoints. Still creamy, still rich, exactly how I remember it. Had the ham and scrambled egg croissant this time too—warm, soft, worked well with a cappuccino. Solid breakfast spot if you're in the area. Just wish they'd open a bit earlier on weekends.

The grilled trout was the star — crispy skin, flaky inside. Quiet enough to actually talk, which I appreciated. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The pork paprikash was solid, rich and heavy on the paprika. Price was fair for the portion. Credit cards work here too.

The pancakes were decent, light and not too heavy. Hot cocoa was fine too, good for a chilly afternoon. Portion size felt fair for what you pay, I didn't leave hungry but didn't feel ripped off either. Place was busy when I went, but the food came quick enough. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned. The lemonade was honestly the highlight — super fresh, not too sweet. WiFi held up fine while I was answering emails. Place has that laid-back vibe where you don't feel rushed. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The sirloin was really good, but everything else was just okay. We sat on the terrace which was nice, though the food was a bit salty for my taste. Fine for a casual catch-up with friends. 😅

The gnocchi with salmon was the reason I came back the same day. Coffee first, then dinner. That sauce was rich without being heavy. Chocolate soufflé held its shape, cracked open just right. Staff spoke German which made ordering easier. Nothing fancy about the place, but the food did the talking.

The goulash here is the real deal. Had it twice during my stay, and it hit the spot both times. Paprika comes through strong, meat is fall-apart tender. Portion size is decent for the price. Maybe not the fanciest plate you'll ever see, but the flavor is what matters.

Decent fish, fresh and well cooked. Terrace is nice for families. Service was quick. Portions a bit small for the price.

The pizza here was really good for the price. Place has that relaxed, easy vibe where you don't feel rushed. Cozy enough that you could bring the kids, but nobody's gonna bother you if you just wanna sit with your own thoughts. Maybe not the most exciting spot, but it does what it sets out to do.

The food here is genuinely good, no question. But the bill adds up fast, so it's more of a treat-yourself kind of place. I had a glass of their house red with the duck, and it worked nicely. Service was fine, though we did wait a bit between courses. Probably not a regular spot, but fine for when you want something a bit more polished.

Booked by phone, got a warm welcome. Table was ready for our group, service quick and friendly. Portions were solid, food tasted fresh. Soft music was a nice touch.

Decent Chinese spot in the city. Menu's huge, but the staff helped us pick—they speak Chinese, English, and Hungarian. Pretty good for an authentic fix.

Stopped by for breakfast around 8. Cinnamon rolls were still warm, got the smaller size and it was plenty. Bagels looked solid too but I didn't try one. Staff was quick and spoke English, which helped. Place filled up fast but upstairs had open seats. Fine for a casual bite.

The pulled beef brioche was the standout — tender, juicy, and the bread held up nicely. Prices felt fair for what you got. I had a glass of red with the beef sandwich and it worked well together. Place was busy but service kept things moving. Solid stop if you're in the area.
