Loved the wine list here, really thoughtful picks. Portions are generous too, but yeah, it's not cheap. Nice spot if you're okay spending a bit more.

The animals look genuinely well cared for, which I appreciated. Homemade cakes were decent, though a bit pricey for what you get. Staff friendly enough.

Coffee’s solid, and the baristas actually know what they’re doing. Cozy spot, but heads up—laptops only downstairs and the wifi’s kinda weak.

The waffle itself was spot on—crispy outside, soft inside. Got the Belgian chocolate fudge sauce on top, that stuff is dangerously good. Toppings list is solid too. Didn't need anything else. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

The gyros here was really good—loaded with meat and fresh toppings, exactly what you want. I sat near the window and the server checked on me just enough, not too pushy. Place was tidy too. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that’s fine. I’d stop by again if I’m in the area.

Fresh sushi and plenty of options—hand rolls, tempura, fried noodles. I went for the salmon set, fish was decent, rice held up fine. Servers were quick and polite, no fuss. Solid spot if you're craving sushi in Budapest and don't want to overthink it. Just don't expect anything fancy.

Been coming here for a while now. The Lanzhou beef noodles are still the reason I return—broth's got that deep, peppery kick, and they don't skimp on the beef. Portion's big enough that I usually skip dinner after. Place gets busy around noon, but it's worth squeezing in. Cold day, this is the fix.

Good tea selection here—the oolong list alone is impressive. Picked up some loose leaf to brew at home. Would've liked a proper tea sommelier to walk me through the pairings, though.

Been coming here for a while now. The chicken and veggie wraps are still solid, that's mainly what I grab. Works well with a coffee too, makes for a decent quick lunch. Not the cheapest but the quality stays consistent, which is why I keep going back. Just a reliable spot.

The mezze for two was plenty — good way to try a bit of everything. Service was quick, no waiting around. Solid spot for Lebanese in Budapest.

Delicious food in a lovely setting! 👌Highly recommended, the staff were super friendly & very professional! Nice extra touches for my birthday 🙏

I had the pleasure of trying the Hobbit-themed menu, and it was a delightful journey through Middle-earth with every bite. The service was attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

This restaurant offers a Michelin-star experience at reasonable prices, making it a fantastic choice for fine dining without breaking the bank.

Stopped by for a hot chocolate with rum — hit the spot on a cold day. Came back later for wine and calamari wraps. Marcel took care of us, quick and friendly. Prices are fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're nearby and want something easy.

The raw cakes here are genuinely good. Tiramisu was light, not cloying, and you can tell they use proper ingredients. Tried the strawberry fig one too—also solid. Place is small, a bit cramped, but the cakes make up for it. Worth grabbing a slice if you're in the area.

Came here on a whim and honestly the noodles hit the spot. Had the hand-pulled ones, chewy and fresh, broth was proper too. Portions are big, I couldn't finish mine. Place is nothing fancy but the food does the talking. Would go back for the lamb noodles, those were the standout.

The Hungarian scrambled eggs were spot on again—creamy, not overcooked. Iced gingerbread latte’s still a solid pick too. Place keeps its quality every single time I stop by.

The rasam was the standout. Proper tangy, spicy, hit the back of the throat just right. Medium spice is the way to go, the hot might be too much for most people. They had live Indian music on Saturday, but honestly I was too focused on the food to care. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger.

The pistachio croissant was really good—lots of filling and the layers were spot on. It’s a bit far from the center though, so you have to want it. I’d grab one again if I’m in the area, but I wouldn’t make the trip just for it. The seating inside is pretty tight, so maybe take it to go.

Sesame chicken was crispy, sauce had a good kick. Flambé salmon surprised me, actually pretty solid. Portions big for what you pay. Place was busy at lunch but food came out fast. Good spot if you need a quick Asian fix in central Budapest.

Nice little place for a quick coffee. The iced tiramisu latte was solid, staff even told me how to drink it properly. Prices fair, plus you get a discount if you bring the receipt back next day.

Solid little wine bar, right in the center. Old-school decor and simple stuff like lard bread and cottage cheese pancakes. Prices are fair for the location.

We got lucky with the service here. Place was packed, but one of the guys still helped us grab a table and even came back to check if our food was coming. That kind of attention during a rush is pretty rare. Food was decent too, nothing crazy, but the staff definitely made the whole thing smoother.

The sugar-free chocolate mousse cake here is genuinely good—I kept checking if I was imagining it. Didn't miss the sugar at all. Staff was nice too, though the place got a bit busy around 4pm. Worth grabbing a seat by the window if you can.

The ruin-bar vibe mixed with a fancier setting works surprisingly well. Cod steak with hollandaise was the standout, goulash bowl was decent but needed more punch. Hugo cocktails fell flat, but the food saved the night.

Stopped by for a quick evening with friends. Huge board game collection, mostly Hungarian but they have a decent English section. Staff pointed us to a couple of good options without hovering. Drinks were fine, nothing special. Place gets a bit loud when it's full, but that's expected. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a low-key night.

The goulash here was the highlight for me — rich, hearty, exactly what I needed on a chilly day. Duck was solid too. Prices felt fair for what you got. Service got a bit staggered when a big group came in, but it didn’t ruin the meal. I’d sit at the counter next time, just to watch the kitchen.
