Came in for a quick bite. The fig and ham starter was really good. Sweet potato with that blue cheese sauce too. Everything just looks nice on the plate.

The 6000 yen course was generous. I liked how the chef would pause to chat between dishes, it felt personal. A nice, relaxed pace for the evening.

Their wagashi and kuzumochi really stand out. The texture of the kuzu soup is so smooth, and the red bean paste in the sweets isn't overly sweet. Even the paper they wrap the box in feels nice and thick. You can tell they care about the little things.

Got a seat at the counter, which was cool. It's a small spot, feels just like a proper teppan izakaya back home. The vibe is lively and real. Just a bit cramped, but that's part of the charm.

The curry udon broth is so rich and warming. Noodles had a nice bite to them. Really hit the spot on a damp day.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The place is cozy with nice books and lighting. Ordered the chicken sandwich, came out fast. Good for a quick bite between meetings. 👍

This restaurant offers a luxurious atmosphere with private rooms and beautiful garden views, making it perfect for special occasions.

First time trying Jiro-style ramen. The standard bowl had a sweet pork bone broth, crisp onions were a nice touch. Those extra-thick noodles are the real star though, great texture.

The gamjatang here is the real deal, packed with perilla leaves. Good to have an authentic spot in the neighborhood.

The nabe curry udon was spot on. That thick Kanazawa-style curry had real depth. The udon was perfectly chewy. I added cheese and mochi, which worked well. Owner was friendly. My only note is the wine list is quite short, but the beer went fine with the rich curry.

The Kanazawa-style oden is good, especially the seasonal hairy crab. The crab noodles were a nice touch.

The kamaage shiratama namafu was a highlight. The texture was just right, soft and chewy. Dipping the warm mochi into the brown sugar syrup and kinako was a simple, satisfying end to the meal. Not too heavy at all.

Cozy little place run by a nice couple. The food was fresh and tasted pretty authentic. They were patient with my limited Japanese, which was appreciated. A solid, quiet spot for a simple meal.

A local told me about this place. Love the modern vibe and the view of the moat. Perfect for a quiet coffee, even when it's busy.

Tried the daily special sashimi set. The tandoori chicken main was a nice change from the usual. Quick service, got my order fast. Good for a quick lunch.

The courses really highlighted the local ingredients. The quiet townhouse setting was a nice touch.

Definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers! The multiple courses were delightful, and the staff provided excellent service, making the whole experience enjoyable.

Tried the set course at Kinjoro's more casual spot. The presentation was really nice, and the pacing between dishes felt just right. A solid, relaxed way to get a taste of their style.
