The view of Asano River is lovely. The staff had some fun chats with us too.

The quality of the food, particularly the freshly grilled mackerel and the accompanying side dishes, was exceptional and far exceeded expectations for the price.

The plum salad was a total surprise! So fresh and tangy. We shared a few small plates and a couple of local sakes. The staff helped us pick which sake went best with each dish, which was super helpful for our little group.

A real hidden gem tucked away in the garden. The building blends into the pond scenery so perfectly you might miss it!

The lunch buffet here is of high quality! The variety of dishes is impressive, and everything is thoughtfully prepared. The desserts, especially the cakes, are beautifully presented and delicious.

The tonkatsu was spot on. Super crispy outside, still juicy inside. The set came with rice, miso, and unlimited cabbage salad, which was a nice touch. Felt like a solid deal for what you get.

They take credit cards, which is handy. The lunch set had a few options, and the miso soup was refillable. Pretty solid for a quick meal.

I had the salt tonkotsu ramen. The broth was really flavorful. The soft-boiled egg was just right. The seats at the counter were comfortable, which made the whole meal very relaxing.

The char siu rice was really good. I ended up mixing the last bit of my soup with the leftover rice, like a simple ochazuke. It was a nice, comforting way to end things.

No. 1 of Local Restaurants in Kanazawa

A bit pricey, but the sashimi portions are generous and the fish is incredibly fresh. The comfortable booth seating made it a relaxing meal.

Staff was helpful with my nut allergy. They checked the kitchen and confirmed the curry sauce is nut-free. That put me at ease. The curry itself was good, not too spicy. A solid choice for a worry-free meal.

Been coming here for years. Their soba is consistently good, and that's why I keep coming back.

Super convenient spot to meet up, right by the station. Just a heads up, the closest parking lot gets full fast!

Tried their wagashi-making workshop. A nice hands-on experience, and you get tea and a souvenir to take home. Pretty good for something a bit different. The space was a little cramped, but it was fine.

The fish in the sashimi platter was so fresh, it practically melted. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff were all wearing masks too, which was a nice touch.

This Starbucks on FORUS 6F is a nice quiet spot. I like the wood interior, feels calm. Good for a slow coffee alone. The latte was smooth, just right. A bit pricey, but you pay for the peace.

This place has been around forever. Tried the chestnut kintsuba they had for the season. Looked almost too pretty to eat. Tasted good, not too sweet. Just a nice little treat.

The cream anmitsu was pretty good, especially the sweet bean paste. The matcha came in a nice seasonal cup too.

The duck udon was really good. I liked how the broth tasted clean and not too heavy. The duck slices were tender and lean, which was nice. A solid choice if you're looking for something warm and comforting.

Helpful staff, and the wine list is surprisingly good for a casual spot.

The local seafood here is top-notch! The combination of fresh fish and expertly prepared sushi makes this restaurant a standout in Kanazawa.

Stopped by for lunch. The yellowtail shabu-shabu was the main event—the fish was so fresh. Tempura came out hot and crispy. That's what you come for.
