Stumbled upon this place in York. The soba tea was a fun surprise – it actually tasted like popcorn! The cheesecakes were lovely and light too. Staff were really helpful with the huge tea menu, took their time explaining things.

Delivery was quick and the food was still warm. The vegetables tasted fresh, which I really appreciate.

Service is consistently good here. Orders arrive on time, and they sometimes include a little extra, which is a nice touch.

A lovely, welcoming cafe with the sweetest dog pictures on the wall.

The wagyu sharing board is the reason I keep coming back. The meat was so tender it practically melted, and the portion was generous for the price. A solid choice if you're focused on the food.

The fish was incredibly fresh, just caught this morning. The texture was firm yet delicate, and the simple lemon butter sauce really let the natural flavour shine. Could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste, but the quality of the fish itself was undeniable.

Been coming here for years. They always remember the little things, like a birthday dessert. That's why I keep coming back.

Bacon and brie panini was solid, good portion. The coleslaw was fresh, clearly homemade. Service was quick, which I appreciated on a working lunch. Fair price for what you get.

My go-to for a quick lunch. The Diablo Smash Burger hits the spot every time. Good portion, decent price. Service is always fast, which is key for me. Gets the job done.

Decent spot. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. But honestly, the portions were a bit on the smaller side for the price. Left feeling like I needed a snack later.

Quick lunch spot, always reliable. New menu has some good additions. Had the three-course set, decent portions. Wine was nice. Service was quick, which I appreciate on a workday.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was quiet even facing the road. The breakfast was really good, but the portion for the evening meal felt a bit small for the price. Still, the staff were lovely.

We had our wedding lunch here. What stood out was how fresh everything tasted. The salmon was just perfect, and the vegetables had that crispness you don't always get. Really appreciated the care with ingredients.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, especially the vegan chili which was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

The Sunday dinner at the Stapylton Arms is simply the best! The owners create a warm and welcoming environment that makes you feel like part of the family.

First time here for lunch. The app ordering was so smooth, food arrived quickly. Really liked the variety on the menu, and the prices are fair. A solid spot for a casual bite.

Yapas menu is solid for a snack. Cheese board was decent. Those tinned scallops though - surprisingly good. 👍 Had them with a drink, worked well.

The cocktail with the rose was a real highlight. They prepare it with a little flame at the table, which was a fun touch. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, you could really taste the fresh ingredients. A nice, balanced option.

The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. They suggested a lovely wine to go with my pasta, and it was just right. Really made the evening feel effortless.

Been coming here for years. The Basque cheesecake is the real deal – actually tastes like something, not just sugar. Had it with a sherry flight last night, worked a treat.

The wine list here is surprisingly deep for a small place. The sommelier suggested a glass of something local I’d never heard of, and it was a nice little find. The short menu option is handy, too.

Been coming here for years, and the Adana kebab is always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.

First time here before a Barbican show. The lighting was just right, soft and warm, making the whole room feel intimate. Prices were fair. A nice, calm place to settle in.

Tried the chef's specials. The Afghani curry and Imlee Karahi were both full of flavour. Good portion sizes for the price. Service was efficient.

Been coming here for years. Their Sunday roast beef is always spot on, and they know how to do a proper gluten-free plate. Gravy's top notch. It's a reliable spot for a decent lunch.

The food was surprisingly good for the price point. My main was cooked perfectly. The chairs were a bit hard for a long sit, but it's a minor thing. I'd come back just for the quality you get.

This place is a proper hidden gem. Loved the steak wrap, it was a great meal. The space feels really cosy and unpretentious, perfect for a casual drink with friends.

Live music on the weekend really made the vibe. The landlady was super friendly, and the drinks didn't break the bank. Just a nice, easy spot for a pint.
