Staff were super friendly, made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in. Just a really nice, warm welcome that set a good mood for the meal.

Nice spot for a quiet catch-up. The atmosphere is relaxed and they don't rush you, which was lovely.

The crab linguine was packed with big chunks of crab and tasted fresh. Just a bit oily for my liking.

First time trying their pizzas. The crust was perfectly chewy and the toppings were so fresh. We'll definitely be back before our trip is over.

Service was quick and friendly, portions were generous. We’ll be back.

Cosy spot, and the food's always fresh. Their takeaway is popular for a reason - the prawn curry last night was spot on.

Been a regular for years. The food's tasty, and the house red is a solid, reliable pairing. A proper local spot in Bridlington.

A proper local pub. Mark and his mum are lovely, really make you feel at home. The new air con is a godsend on a warm day, and the garden out back is a nice spot. Just what you need.

I was impressed by how fresh the ingredients were. The vegetables in the stir-fry had a lovely crispness, and the chicken tasted very clean. The setting is nice, but it was the quality of the produce that stood out for me. A good spot for a healthy meal.

Dog-friendly pub, which is a big plus for me. The whole place is spotless, even the loos. My spaniel was very happy with the water bowl they brought out.

Proper chippy, this. The batter on the fish is always spot on – really light and crisp, not greasy at all. The fish inside stays lovely and moist. Just what you want from a classic fish and chips.

Busy night, phone kept ringing. But the crispy wonton and chicken noodle soup still came out quick and hot. Portions were decent for the price, felt like a proper meal.

Been coming here for years. The Brie and chutney panini is still spot on, especially on a sunny day outside.

the staff are genually willing to help your eating experience is above average. More importantly the food is cooked to order on site by a enthusiastic Chef and presented beautifully. Well worth a visit.

Pistachio croissant was fresh and buttery. Filling amount was spot on. Coffee paired well. Got mine to go during a busy lunch hour - they handled the queue efficiently. Solid quick bite.

The coffee here is top-notch, honestly one of the best cups I've had in a long while. The caramel cake was spot on, not too sweet. The brownie crunch could've been a bit more... crunchy, but it was still tasty.

The full English was spot on, especially those grilled mushrooms. They took me right back. Had it with a proper pot of strong breakfast tea, which was just the thing. A solid start to the day.

Been coming here for years. They do a solid range of sandwiches and bread, but you've got to get in early. Always busy with locals, which says it all really. My usual is the ham and cheese on rye, simple but good.

The crispy fish with that fruity curry sauce was a real find. Made for a lovely meal back at the cottage.

The on-site parking is a lifesaver in York. It's so rare to find a spot that's both quiet and convenient. Made popping in for a midweek lunch completely stress-free.

Quirky, relaxed spot in a historic building. Good for a casual drink with a friend. The vibe is the main draw here.

Popped in for a slice of carrot cake and ended up trying the black forest gateau too. The cake selection is really something! So many choices, it was hard to pick just one. A lovely little spot for a sweet treat.

The free WiFi's decent, but honestly, I'm here for the food. Their burger patty is thick and properly juicy, cooked just right. The bun holds up well, doesn't get soggy. That's what keeps me coming back.

The food here is so fresh. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. I had the grilled sea bass and the greens were crisp and vibrant. A lovely, simple lunch. The service was attentive, too.

The batter on the fish is the best part. Really light and crispy, not greasy at all. The fish itself was still nice and moist inside. Just a solid, simple fish and chips.

Been coming here for years. The chocolate brownie is always good, and they do a decent gluten-free one too. Coffee's spot on. Breakfast is solid, nothing fancy but gets the job done.
