The vegan carrot cake was so good, and they had oat milk for my latte. Perfect spot to catch up with a friend.

The view from here is stunning, you can see right across the bay and the harbour. It’s a pretty grand old building too, part of the spa. A really nice spot for dinner.

Staff were super friendly, made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in. Just a really nice, warm welcome that set a good mood for the meal.

The ma la xiang guo was the star. It had that perfect numbing heat and was packed with flavour. Just wish it hadn't taken quite so long to reach the table.

The full English here is just right, not greasy at all. And the coffee was a proper, strong brew. Sat outside in the morning sun, it was a lovely start to the day. Service was quick and friendly.

Nice spot for a quiet catch-up. The atmosphere is relaxed and they don't rush you, which was lovely.

The crab linguine was packed with big chunks of crab and tasted fresh. Just a bit oily for my liking.

Came in just before closing, staff were still so welcoming. Ordered the pasta special, portion was generous for the price. Felt like a good deal, especially for a late dinner.

Been coming here for years and the fish and chips never disappoint. The batter is always perfectly crisp, and the fish is so fresh. Just a really solid spot in Whitby.

First time trying their pizzas. The crust was perfectly chewy and the toppings were so fresh. We'll definitely be back before our trip is over.

Service was quick and friendly, portions were generous. We’ll be back.

Cosy spot, and the food's always fresh. Their takeaway is popular for a reason - the prawn curry last night was spot on.

Been a regular for years. The food's tasty, and the house red is a solid, reliable pairing. A proper local spot in Bridlington.

A proper local pub. Mark and his mum are lovely, really make you feel at home. The new air con is a godsend on a warm day, and the garden out back is a nice spot. Just what you need.

I was impressed by how fresh the ingredients were. The vegetables in the stir-fry had a lovely crispness, and the chicken tasted very clean. The setting is nice, but it was the quality of the produce that stood out for me. A good spot for a healthy meal.

Dog-friendly pub, which is a big plus for me. The whole place is spotless, even the loos. My spaniel was very happy with the water bowl they brought out.

Afternoon tea. Scones were light, especially the cheese ones. Sandwiches were homemade. Cakes looked lovely. Presentation was spot on.

Been coming here for years, it's the real deal. The ribs, chicken, and steak combo is always spot on - meat just falls right off the bone. Onion rings are crispy, corn's tender. Solid meal for the area.

Proper chippy, this. The batter on the fish is always spot on – really light and crisp, not greasy at all. The fish inside stays lovely and moist. Just what you want from a classic fish and chips.

Busy night, phone kept ringing. But the crispy wonton and chicken noodle soup still came out quick and hot. Portions were decent for the price, felt like a proper meal.

Quick delivery and the driver was so friendly. The kebab with cabbage salad and sauces was a real treat, arrived nice and hot.

Been coming here for years. The Brie and chutney panini is still spot on, especially on a sunny day outside.

the staff are genually willing to help your eating experience is above average. More importantly the food is cooked to order on site by a enthusiastic Chef and presented beautifully. Well worth a visit.

A lovely little place. Monica and Tony were so welcoming, they really made us feel at home. The room was very comfortable, especially the armchair by the window – perfect for a quiet read. A real find in Helmsley.

The full English breakfast was solid. Bacon crispy, eggs runny, sausages had a good snap. Everything arrived hot. Also grabbed a couple of their fruit teacakes to go - they toast up nicely at home.

Pistachio croissant was fresh and buttery. Filling amount was spot on. Coffee paired well. Got mine to go during a busy lunch hour - they handled the queue efficiently. Solid quick bite.
