Service was really on point. We dined in and everything ran smoothly, staff were attentive without hovering. Even noticed they handled a takeaway order just as well. Food was good, but the service stood out.

Popped in for a quick pint. Ended up staying way longer because of the live blues from 'Bad Saloon'. Great vibe, friendly crowd. Solid tap list too. Just what I needed.

Cosy spot with a relaxed vibe. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the evening.

A proper old pub, the kind that feels lived-in. The cellar's the thing though - they've got Dick Turpin's coffin down there. A bit of a weird, but interesting, touch to the place.

Been coming here for years, and the live music nights are what keep me coming back. It's always a good vibe, not too loud, just right for a relaxed evening. The band last Friday was spot on.

Great spot for a pint inside the city walls. Their rotating cask ales are the main draw for me – tried a lovely local bitter that paired perfectly with the relaxed, historic vibe. Live music some nights adds to the atmosphere. A solid choice.

The beer selection here is a proper treat. I loved the Peasholm Pale, really crisp and refreshing. Their Irish Cream Porter was a nice surprise too – smooth with a hint of chocolate. Spent a happy hour just working my way through the taps.

A proper old pub, this. The building's from the 1600s, all low beams and separate rooms. The main draw for me was the cask ales – a really good selection, all kept perfectly. Found a lovely local bitter that went down a treat.

Great beer selection, and the pub itself is super cozy. Love the vibe here, decent music playing in the background. It's a really nice spot to just unwind.

Didn't try the food, but the staff were so friendly and polite. Really enjoyed the cosy, charming atmosphere.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast is always spot on. Freshly cooked, just the way I like it. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Love that they always have a few guest ales on tap. Tried the Bristol Beer Factory one this time – really crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a sunny afternoon.

A proper local pub. I was there for the match, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Staff were friendly, and the pie and chips were spot on. A solid pint, too.

The live band was the highlight! Really set a great vibe, we ended up dancing a bit by our table. The music choice was spot on, not too loud for conversation either.

Proper local pub vibe, genuinely warm and welcoming. Felt like a regular from the first visit. Good spot for a quiet pint after work.

Love the vibe here for a catch-up with mates. The cocktails are spot on - not too sweet, which is a win. We tried a couple of their signatures and they were all really well balanced. Good spot for a relaxed evening out.

Stayed here on a whim. Rooms are spotless and full of character. Andrew and Lucinda are genuinely lovely hosts. The food, both in the restaurant and at breakfast, was really solid every single time. A good spot.

The tapas are perfect for sharing. I loved the vibe here, especially the soft lighting and the gentle hum of conversation. It just felt so cosy and relaxed. The cocktails were a nice touch too.

A bit tucked away up the stairs, which was nice for a quiet pint. They've got a good range of beers on tap. The 2/3 pint measure is a nice option. My dog was welcome, which is a plus.

Just popped in for a Guinness after work. The new decor is nice, feels cozy. Pint was spot on. Good place to just sit for a bit as it gets dark outside.

Great spot for a catch-up! They had a really good selection of drinks, including some proper ales. Perfect for a chilled pint with friends.

The small plates are surprisingly generous. I really appreciated how fresh everything tasted, you can tell the ingredients are top quality. The value is fair for what you get.

The sandwiches are fantastic, and they have a really thoughtful beer list. I enjoyed a local pale ale that paired perfectly with the cured meats. It's a lovely little spot that does feel a bit like Italy.

The vegan chili was really fresh, you could tell it was made with good ingredients. It didn't feel like an afterthought. The rest of the menu looked good, but I was happy with my choice. Nice, simple spot.

Rooms are clean, warm, and well-stocked. Fine for a short city break. The minibar selection was surprisingly decent, had a nice local craft beer that hit the spot after a long day. Could use a couple more wine options by the glass though.

Good spot for the match. Lots of screens, decent beer selection. The memorabilia on the walls is a nice touch, gives it a proper pub feel.

Tia’s cocktail class was a blast. She’s funny and really knows her stuff—made it super fun for everyone.

Martin and the team are always so welcoming. The food here is consistently good - I'm a big fan of their lamb dish, cooked just right. A cozy spot that feels like a proper treat.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, very comfortable for a night's stay.
