Didn't try the food, but Tom and Bob were really friendly. You could tell they genuinely cared about the service. The room we were in had a nice rustic vibe, felt cosy. Menu for light bites looked decent, prices seemed fair.

Been coming here for years. The ale is always well-kept, which is the main thing. Good range on handpull, from session bitters to something a bit stronger. Priced fairly for the area, around a fiver a pint. It's my local for a reason.

Decent pub quiz, well-run. The complimentary buffet after was a nice touch. They also did a random cash prize draw, not just for the winners. Good for a midweek evening.

The beer selection is solid. Had a couple of their hand-pulled ales and they were spot on, really fresh. Good spot for a pint.

Lovely to see a proper disabled loo and an accessible side entrance. The outdoor tables are a little sun trap on a nice day, perfect for a quiet lunch.

Lovely spot right on the seafront. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the good range of beers, especially having a gluten-free option available. Made for a really comfortable and easy visit.

Been coming here for years. Mia's always on top of it, remembers my usual drink. The cocktails are still great, though I do miss that one glass they used to serve the old fashioned in.

Lunch by the river. Sharing platter and halloumi fries were good. Portion was big, definitely enough for two. Solid.

Solid cask ales, always in good nick. Decent selection on tap. Staff are sound, gave me a quick tip on the local area. Perfect for a swift pint.

Stumbled upon this place in York. Proper local pub with a decent beer garden at the rear. Good spot for a quiet pint after work. Service was prompt.

Cocktails were the star here. The one with the smoked rosemary was a real standout. Service was friendly and on point. Exactly the kind of relaxed spot we'd been hoping to find.

Popped in for a quick bite. The chicken wings and tater tots were good, generous portions. The booths are really comfortable, which made it easy to relax. Service was friendly and not rushed.

Solid pub food, nothing fancy. The cheese board was decent, loads of bread. Burgers are huge, definitely shareable. Got the classic, bit greasy but hit the spot. Good for a casual bite.

The location of The Fat Badger is perfect for exploring York, just a short walk from the main attractions. The food is delicious, and the beer garden is a lovely place to unwind.

The pub's location is great, right by the city walls. For the price, you get a clean room and a proper old-school pub downstairs. It's a solid, no-fuss spot.

Just tried their new Pig Mac burger. It's a solid burger, juicy and messy in a good way. The TVs are on for sports, which is a nice touch if you're just dropping in.

Came by on a Sunday. The bar staff were so lovely. Drinks were a great price for having live music. Just a shame we couldn't snag a seat near the singer.
