The German Architectural Museum, or DAM for short, is the leading European Museum in architecture and its history. Built in 1984 by Cologne architect Oswald Martias Wengers, the building itself is the largest exhibit of the museum. Long-term exhibitions include large models "from primitive cottages to skyscrapers" and short-term exhibitions of modern and contemporary architecture.
