Nanchan Temple, on the banks of the Nanxun and ancient canal in Wuxi, is one of the 480 temples in the south of the 1450 years. It was built in the Taiqing period of Liang Wu Emperor and was incomparable to the famous temples in the south of the Yangtze River. It is known as the "most winning jungle in the south of the Yangtze River". Miaoguang Tower is located on the east side of the temple, high 43.3 meters, built in the Northern Song Dynasty, more than a thousand years ago. The ancient tower is a seven-level eight-sided loft style, with copper bells hanging at the corners, and the reputation of "Ten miles of rumored gold squeaking, half a day flying down the jade dragon", one of the eight scenes in Wuxi.
