Savvor Review

Went on a Fri night. Really wanted to like this place but it just wasn't happening. The positives were the band; they were great but the music was way too loud. Hostesses and waitresses were friendly, prompt and very attentive and the decor is cool and trendy. Everything was great until the food came. Ordered the jerk wings for app. Very tasty and well done but these are not jerk. teriyaki maybe, but not jerk. For the main course, we ordered the coconut curry stew and the chicken and waffles. The coconut curry stew was good although the curry sauce was a bit watery and the rice was overcooked, it was very tasty. The chicken and waffles. Such. A. Disappointment. It was my first time having chicken and waffles and if that is how it is, I don't want to ever eat it again. It was awful. Probably one of the worst meals I've ever had. The chicken had no flavor, no seasoning, no nothing. Just bland. The waffles, which were thick and dry, tasted like it just came out of the freezer and was quickly zapped in the microwave with the chicken thrown on top. Eggo's comes to mind. Lastly, the drinks were a fail. Way too much juice/soda and very little liquor. Like I said earlier, I really wanted to like this place and maybe I'll try again but I don't know....
