At one side there are massive skyscrapers, at the others some gorgeous older buildings, and then a few blocks away there is a huge garden full of ancient chinese architecture. Then in another direction there is the longest shopping street in the world.

the bund Shanghai is amazing! i went there during winter and the weather is good with not that many tourists. it is highly recommended to stay somewhere near but everywhere is walking distance.

Shanghai's night is paper drunk and gold fans, but also romantic. The Bund is not colorful during the day, and the night is a completely different style. The three-piece lighting of the Oriental Pearl and Lujiazui illuminates the Huangpu River, which is majestic and romantic. Absolutely beautiful place. Especially at night it is so pretty with all the lights. The view is spectacular. And there is such a diversity in architecture
