The predecessor of Dongqing Temple was a woman's nun refuge, which only women allowed to enter. Tickets are now 200 yen, built in a peaceful hilly area with shrine caves hidden in some nuns' graves, a ten-minute walk from Kitakakura Station and a sign in English at the entrance to the street.
