Xibo National Museum Review

West relocation is the most brilliant page in the history of the Xibo people. In order to strengthen the border garrison force, in 1764, the Qing Dynasty Qianlong Emperor ordered 1018 Xibo officers and soldiers from the northeast, along with 3,275 family members. West moved to the edge of Yili Tun Reclamation, Xinjiang. Zeng made a promise to "return to his hometown for 60 years".

Today is the Xibo traditional festival of west relocation (April 18, Lunar Calendar).
