The Yalu River Broken Bridge is located on the banks of the Yalu River on Jiang'an Road, Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China. It is the remnant of the original Yalu River Bridge after it was blown up. The Yalu River Broken Bridge is the first of many bridges on the Yalu River and was built by the Railway Bureau of the Governor General of Korea in Japan. It was completed in October 1911. In November 1950, it was blown up by the US Air Force and became a witness to the history of fighting the US and aiding the vicissitudes of the pilgrimage. On a morning of a thick fog, I came to Dandong from Shenyang and came to the broken bridge by the Yalu River. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the other side. But the steel bridge still feels the thrilling war that was decades ago.
