The advantage is its proximity to the airport with a shuttle service. Rooms feature a television and microwave, which is perfectly adequate for heating purposes, though I'd advise against microwaving strongly flavoured foods.
The air conditioning did not function for the first two nights. As it wasn't particularly cold then, I didn't notice. However, on the third night, I found it too cold. When I went to adjust the temperature, I discovered the air conditioning was not working properly. After reporting it to reception, someone came to check and repair it within 10 minutes. I am very grateful for the warm night that followed. The reception staff on the third night were excellent.
Regarding the two night shift receptionists during my first two nights, their attitude was rather cold, and they were unable to answer my questions about the sheets.
Additionally, regarding the laundry service, the night shift staff on the first two nights consistently stated they did not offer this service. However, laundry bags and forms were present in the room, and forms were also available at reception. Their claim contradicted the daytime reception staff entirely. For reasons unknown to me, those two night shift staff seemed quite indifferent towards me and unwilling to elaborate.
This hotel was perfect for me.
They allowed me to check in late. Kevin who greeted me at reception was a delight and made me feel very welcome.
I only stayed one night (actually less than 12 hours due to my check in time) but the room was brilliant. The bed was so so comfy and the bathroom was huge. I really liked the shower had a sliding door meaning you could get in without getting soaked as the water warmed up.
It was also a great location for onward public transport to Toronto.
We decided to do a quick staycation with our 3 year old twins and this place was perfect! Big pool, spacious rooms with balconies and great Starbucks coffee served downstairs in the hotel store in the morning along with croissants, cinnamon buns, oatmeal, etc. All for extra cost but great to have that available!
Just a short walk from the waterfall and near the ******. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants but few supermarkets. Overall, it’s worth the price — the breakfast is good, and the staff provided good service.
The location and environment are impeccable, and I have to say a few more words about the food and service. Since we arrived after 9pm, the French meal that ended at 10pm was not suitable, so the waiter introduced us to the international fusion cuisine opposite. The taste was good and met our expectations, but the variety was a little less. Diago at the front desk is what I want to introduce today. We are a family of three traveling, and I booked a room in my husband's name and my own name. That Diago actually asked a strange question, ”Are you three staying in one room?” I just thought he was not proficient in business and didn't care. Then he said that the single room I booked was queen size and he helped me upgrade it to king size. He also said that the double room I booked was also a queen size bed. I showed him the order, ”1.81 meters big bed”, he still insisted that it was a queen size. My husband also said that other people's king size might be 2.00 meters. I asked if he could also help me upgrade to king size, and he readily agreed. We thanked him. Walking into the room, the small window saw other people's roofs and a road. Where is my view? I went downstairs to argue with Diago. The 1.81-meter bed I booked is already a king size, but you didn’t upgrade it for me. I booked a room with a view, so what about the view? Diago said that 1.81 meters refers to the length of the bed. I asked him in return if the 1.51-meter and 1.31-meter beds provided by the hotel also refer to the length? Until then, I still thought he was not proficient in his business. Diago was speechless and said that I would go and ask. When he came back, he argued that the room I gave you was bigger, but what I wanted was the view! I said that the view was my first consideration and the room size ranked second. Diago hesitated for a long time before saying that there was no room with a view tonight, ”What?!” At this time, I firmly believed that his previous series of actions were intentional! As compensation, Diago gave me a simple breakfast for two people in the fourth-floor lounge for free the next day. To be honest, the breakfast was really average.
Hi there whoever is reading this comment please tighten your seatbelt because there’s a lot to know. First of all if you need something and you try to call the front desk or any other service , nobody will answer even if u try 1000 times. The coffee maker was not working in my room so I requested a lady who was cleaning the next room to kindly come and check and trust me I did this thrice but no one showed up. Horrible. Secondly their breakfast sucks… especially if you’re Indian. I wish I could have taken the pictures of the fruits which was not sliced and kept as a whole who does that? No good tea and coffee ,no items of chicken except sausages, nothing is good and it costed 25$ each for a bf buffet. Not worthy at all. Thirdly their hygiene, I wish I could have taken the picture of the plates and bowls kept there for breakfast. For a moment I thought it’s a used one but no. They were dirty and not washed properly. Last but not the least anyone who is booking this hotel ( especially an Indian) don’t waste your 25$ for breakfast instead go to a nearby Indian restaurant. There you will get good food. I regret so much staying here. This was our first time and it was a waste. We really expected a good time as it’s a big name but unfortunately it’s all just not worth it.
It's hard to rate this hotel. First of all, the location is excellent, perfect for panoramic views of the waterfall from your room. However, there was a power outage during my stay, which meant the elevators were out of service. Hauling luggage up the stairs was a bit of a nightmare. Also, perhaps because it's accommodation near a tourist attraction, they tend to charge some self-imposed fees, so guests should be aware of that. On the bright side, Trip.com was very responsible in helping to resolve the issues, definitely providing an extra layer of protection compared to booking directly on the official website.
After hours they don’t have anyone to check in,I need to check in by Sheraton.and the they misunderstood me and they tell me I am lucky because the room is still available, otherwise I have to leave the hotel.i have to pay twice for deposit.and I question them why have to hold twice the deposit, they said they always here, but they don’t know I don’t live in Canada.it is ok the do that, but not the right way to speak to customers like that.
Enjoyable there such as convenience Water Park, child games area, extra activities each day! Great!

AAnonymous UserLocation is superb! Shoppers opened for 24hrs and Loblaws are right nearby. It’s also near to metro station and got loads of restaurant to eat around. Staffs are also polite and helpful. Aircon is working and quiet enough for a good sleep.
Carpet is quite old and dirty tho, and the water pressure for shower is insufficient :(
If you want to drink hot water, you will have to borrow a kettle from the reception.
GGuest UserThe location was great — just a short walk to the falls and Clifton Hill, which was super convenient. The hotel does feel a bit dated and could use some maintenance; for example, the top of the closet was a bit dusty. The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly fine for a solo traveler — it might feel a little tight for two people. That said, it was overall clean, and the guest services team was very friendly and helpful
DDavidThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.
MMin1991Maybe because we checked in late, they upgraded our room for free!
Slippers, pajamas, and water were provided for the first time.
There was also a 24-hour supermarket right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient.
GGuest UserBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative.
The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived.
I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.
GGuest UserI stayed for three days with my daughter for a mom and daughter trip. Appearance is beautiful and desk staff was nice and helpful but I don’t think the room we stayed is appropriate for guests who pay for it. I chose this place for a free parking and close to YYZ.
The room was incredibly small and structurally wrong for people to move inside the room. The washroom door fully didn’t open and the ceiling was very low so I had to be very careful not to bump my head to the ceiling. The room picture they posted on the website looked great and cozy but that isn’t important anymore if we can’t move around. One more, they had a wedding party on the second day and very loud music was on by 1 am and next day there was another party but it wasn’t that loud. You have to check if they have party guests during your staying before you book.
NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future
LLivyC75The hotel was a glamorous stay right in the heart of Toronto. There’s a feeling of old luxury in the rooms and the lobby. The room had been renovated recently but they’re much smaller than newer hotels and only just fits a couple and luggage. The amenities were good, and we used the small sauna and steam room. Everything about the hotel was great despite being so compact. The toiletries provided were by Le Labo, but the scent is very strong and can be overpowering for some if you don’t bring your own.
BBethVery nice view, worth for booking.
Hotel staff very nice, I arrived by uber but my son lost a handbag, so I ran out to see, and a receptionist lady also ran out for help, she is super helpful to help me to contact the driver, even we cannot reach out the driver, and when I checked in the counter, another super nice receptionist lady explained very detail to me for how to contact the drivers again or report police etc, both 2 receptionist ladies are super super nice and helpful and professional.
The last one is the manager and we lost another backpack and wonder it was lost in hotel, he spend long time to look for me and review cctv few times for me, they all are very kind hearted and helpful when you have problems. Really appreciated and touched.
Room was a bit old but everything looks good, room service food also good.
